These look great, thanks for explaining how they work. I've always been a bit nervous of attempting to fit stay alives, but the plug in feature is a great idea.
They are great for anything going over dirty track. Good practice would be to fit the biggest that can be got into the model, though the plug and play of these does mean you can change readily to another size if required.

Would be really useful on my dapol track cleaner wagons and the loco that pushes them. Actually saw Jenny’s original of this demo a month or so ago
