I would love to see a walkthrough to your collection and all the history of how did you get them and maybe let us in on a little secret of how can we get them as well (even though I'm sure that I will not be able to afford them, LOL)
Oh my! I wouldn’t even know where to start since I’ve been collecting for about 12/13 years. 😂😂 The vast majority I got from official boutiques, I was skeptical for the longest time from buying from not authorized resellers. And I still am a bit, to be honest. I will do a collection video eventually but I must be more than ready for that. 😂🤣
So I got a small decant of this which I paid and arm and leg for. Omg it's soo beautiful. I wish I could add to my collection 😭 so difficult to find and at a reasonable price point. I do hope this comes back around.
I totally get where you’re coming from. 🥹 If you end up deciding to get a bottle eventually, just be extra diligent where you’re getting it from because unfortunately there are so many fakes in the market these days. :/
I always wonder whether it's the perfume or my familiarity with it that makes me swoon the second or third time around. I guess I'll never know. 😵💫But it does sometimes take months or years for an olfactive system to adapt to something unfamiliar. Maturing perfume is certainly a thing, but so is a maturing body! 😄 About the chocolate, I've always found that white chocolate is basically a buttery-textured vanilla. 😉 So your description makes sense to me! Right!?! I think the brain takes its time to “understand/adapt” to a new scent and the second, third experience is completely different than the first time. But the other points you mentioned are super real too! Development of ones taste is a BIG factor. I’m currently seeing those changes with my sisters. Loving seeing how today they’re loving perfumes that a couple years ago they couldn’t stand.

I love Iris ganache! My batch is from 2017, and I think it smells like Iris + lots of patchouli ! Sometimes patchouli can disguise as chocolate scent.

I get the comparison too but to me patchouli comes across as milk/dark chocolate and not white chocolate due to its dark nature.
