    Great video. Today, my drum also stopped turning, so opened it up and the belt had come off and was stuck between the pulley and the plate. The wheel is knackered, cracked on the bearing and lip. Because I didn't plan for this to happen, got to wait a couple of days for the new part to arrive. So glad I found your video!

    I have found the problem I thought the belt was on the plastic cog wheel, but it isn’t it’s right tight in between the plastic and the metal fixing that goes against the machine. I tried to move the belt by hand and it wouldn’t go anywhere. Then I noticed, when I got down to the bottom near the cog, it was tucked right in between so tight.. so with a bit of luck if I can take the rest apart and get the new plastic cog or whatever you call it I will hopefully fix it if I can get it all back together. It’s a great video thank you

      Thanks Joyce,
      you can order a new Plastic Cog (Jockey Wheel) on eBay. Also you may have probably removed the old black type which tends to collapse after time. Heads-Up! refitting the belt requires some brute force, see this video: th-cam.com/video/zztBmcH37vM/w-d-xo.html strongly recommend you order a new belt also however this will require dismantling the machine further if your up for it.
      Regards.

    Hello. Many thanks for your video. It is really helpful. Could you please help me? I have a Indesit Aquarius TCFS 93b and the wheel doesn't have the metallic part with the screws, it is only the plastic. How can I replace it? Is it just to remove the metal part and put the plastic in the place?

    • @green-crocs-fixes1520
      @green-crocs-fixes1520  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Cibele,
      you must have the original part on your machine, the part I am fitting here is a genuine replacement pulley wheel. This is a stronger and upgraded type.
      Regards 😀.

    Just about died when I see the crocs, I just put a new jockey wheel on and put the belt on the way the espares guy shows and it absolutely obliterated the jockey wheel within 5 minutes of running… I noticed that you put the belt on from the other side which would mean less friction on the wheel so do you think this way would work on the Idcl85 🐊

    • @green-crocs-fixes1520
      @green-crocs-fixes1520  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      No gonna lie Scissor,
      the tighter the better, the method demonstrated here is less tension but some say Yay and some say Nay.

    • @scissorsharp9032
      @scissorsharp9032 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@green-crocs-fixes1520yeh understandable, I’d imagine a 8kg capacity drum would slip pretty bad if the tension is lacking, I just wonder if the jockey wheel I got was faulty… either way, they’re gonna refund so I might try a stronger wheel next time.
      Cheers

    nice one - really helpful - i made 2 mistakes and realised them after your video - the belt goes behind the pulley not over the front and the belt has a smooth side and a grooved side - the grooved side touches the axle to give more grip.

    • @green-crocs-fixes1520
      @green-crocs-fixes1520  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks Onur,
      I assume the Belt had snapped on yours, hence why you were unaware of the layout.
      Glad you managed to resolve though.

    Its a good video however the belt is on the wrong side of the wheel. The rear section of the belt should sit over the front of the jockey wheel.....otherwise a good clear demonstration. The white wheel is the upgrade from the black on as that had no bearing, the white one has a decent bearing.

    Hello sir, I am a follower of you and I live in Spain.
    Very good video. Since I have the same dryer as you, I would like to ask you a question about a problem I have.
    My dryer is leaking water from the bottom of the condenser drawer located at the bottom left of the dryer.
    I have verified that the latch anchors are securely closed, but water continues to leak out.
    It seems that the internal rubber and sponge seals of the condenser are a little worn and I cannot find any replacement parts.
    Can you think of a solution?
    Thanks in advance

    The way you have put the belt on the pulley causes it to rub on the dryer body, you need to put it on the other way.
