Another brilliant and super helpful video guys . Ignore the smart ass idiots trying to pick holes and criticise - your content is the best I’ve seen on this subject 🎾🎾👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
YEOO WHERE YALL BEEN!?!? Relatively new to your channel and ran out of videos to watch. RacquetFlex is the best and most technical tennis channel on TH-cam. I'm becoming increasingly serious about expanding on my game after returning from a 3-4 year hiatus after HS and your videos have taught me so much. I was a pretty high-level player having played tennis ever since I could hold a raquet competing in ITF tournaments while growing up overseas in Ethiopia. I'm now in the US and want to take my tennis to the next level. Without proper coaching, your videos have been my go-to whenever trying to improve my form and technical ability. Much love to the RacquetFlex team, and hope to see more videos! I'm also glad you are taking your business to the next level and providing clinics to the community. I hope to see you in the DMV area soon (DC, MD, VA) and attend one of these clinics!
Excellent breakdown of proper serve mechanics! I'm teaching a few friends of mine who have never picked up a racquet before how to play tennis. I'll be sure to show them this video.
hey i have been using your 5.0 serve course and it is only 2 weeks i can now get a deeper racquet drop my fluidity and power has increased i have been struggling from 1 year i have also done many private coaching lessons but nothing seems to work but this course helped me to get the understanding of technique in detail thanks
@RacquetFlex - you guys make the best videos. Please keep making these real instructional videos (real as working with people live and seeing results).
Thailand~~😂 hope u have an asian clinic tour one day. your channel is fabulous!! i’ve been watching a lot of tennis techniques on social media, here’s the best !!! i’ve been struggling fixing my waiter tray serving for years, watching many pros’ clips and all other channels and practice but still couldn’t fix it until i found you!!! don’t know how to express my feeling of how happy i am that this channel exists. thank you so much for your effort of sharing the academic level of tennis knowledge and make it easy enough to understand and put into practice. i improved a lot of skills based on knowledges from your clips (starting from grips, modern forehand and etc.). please please pleaseeeee continue uploading and never stop making this channel. your channel is very useful and enjoyable. (love you guys’ humour too😂). Hope to see you guys someday in Thailand😁
Great lessons! What’s the key to slam to the ground and have the ball bouncing so high and maintain control? A sound serve technique is needed for sure but when we developing those drills what’s the difference between slam to the ground and aiming serving box? Thanks!
Thank you for the great video!! I'm having trouble with my serve these days and need clarification about whether the moment of impact should be short or long. In the case of the forehand, if you drag the ball, you can hit it more stably and firmly than if you impact it short, but what about the serve? Is it better to use the surface of the tennis racket and carry it long after impact? Or is it better to strike as quickly as possible in an instant?
I humbly disagree, as the motion of the best serves is upward and not forward. Don't believe me?... Ask Andy Roddick. The man knows a thing or two about serving. Your toss position for the best possible serve will vary depending on how tall you are. While you can increase the speed of your serve by tossing the ball forward, the result will be a serve with little to no spin that can easily be blocked back into play. In addition your serve percentage will decrease because the margin of error between the forward toss location and the net will decrease drastically. Legs, timing, and racket head speed, is how you can properly increase serve speed.
Hitting forward puts your weight into the ball. Roddick is naturally strong and tall, he didn't need perfect form to serve bombs. And balls go faster with no spin, spin slows down speed.
This guys toss was too far behind him for a first serve. Pros priorities either flat or slice serves as their first serves and the toss will be about a foot in the baseline. For second serves they will prioritise slice or kick where the toss may be slightly more above them (for kick). A good flat serve with no spin is not going to be easily blocked back because it should be about placement, and any good player finds it easier to return a spin serve than a well placed flat serve. Humbly carry on learning the game.
The guy in the video was basically making contact on the baseline which is something you should never be doing (even on kick serves). Andy is also still throwing the ball into the court on every serve.

Are you able to come to japan...like here in Kobe/Osaka region for one of your clinics?
Slam to the ground vs aiming the serving box. Is the difference just be the angle when you make contact of the ball?
Wow! Come to LA!
Hi which speed check device do you recommend?
What is the app who user to get the shot speed ?
Probably swing vision
They used a radar gun, not an app.
Still looking forward to seeing Part 2 and Part 3 of this video?😞🎾
what about people in INDIA
if he keeps that palm down it could be faster

Which exact part of the video are you cherry picking and disagreeing with? 😂

Isner is tall, Andy’s height is average for tennis. We can agree to disagree in everything you just said.
Awesome video thank you!!! 😀
