- In the township KwaThema in Johannesburg lives Magesh, also know as the King of Spin. Magesh does 'car spinning', the craze in South Africa at the moment. In 5 minutes he burns away the profile of his tires, but it looks spectacular. And he is quite popular with the girls, thanks to car spinning.
vpro Metropolis was a video project by Dutch broadcast organisation vpro, that ran from 2008 to 2015. Metropolis is made by a global collective of young filmmakers and TV producers, reporting on remarkable stories from their own country/city. We made a trip around the globe on one single issue: from local beauty ideals to Elvis impersonators, to what's it like being gay, or an outcast or a dog in different cultures.

Most coloured spinners have things that assist them in spinning idk what but I m 100 % sure there is but it doesn't make em less good but most black guys who spin keep it real y'all, you can put them in a car you know has no modification what so ever and they spin that thing that's why i respect magesh more ✌✌

I admit when he left his driveway at 3:30 that was pretty skillful. Most people would have stacked like in some of these super car videos you see, where a ferrari plows through a crowd because some guy has all the gear but no idea. Kudos to the guy if he enjoys what he does.

Im here in south africa and tyre's and fuel is not cheap as you say
tyre's is about 400 Rands each that's about $50 DOLLORS AND FUEL is close to $2 dollars per litre so to do what you see above cost about $100 dollors for 2 min of fun

He says that a set of tires lasts him only 5 minutes . . that's MUCH shorter than a Bugatti Veyron takes to burn up its Tires at TOP speed . . so Basikly he burns tires faster than a Bugatti !!! That's paranoid !
I just think its unsafe in the residential areas. In college a guy blew a fire hydrant. It wasnt pretty. If you have a ground to do it, Im cool with that.

Beemers are known to have an exceptional turning circle, 50/50 weight distribution, rare wheel drive which make it easier to spin and it also sounds fantastic
