Therese, you have done it again! I would love to have half of your creative brain! These cards are fantastic ! I love the pig in the balloon and the chillin frog, but the gray with the black was just so elegant and striking...and...gray is my favorite color, so id have to say that one tops the others but only ever so slightly cause you know i adore your critter cards.🤗💕oh, the pinata card was super fun as well.😊
I love the added texture from the cover plate die, really the possibilities are endless! I'm so happy you liked them!
I t's great to see masculine cards that aren't just dull. I have lots of guys to make for and the cards they like best have to do something, popup, shake, slide etc. Needless to say they take 10 times longer to make, but my guys are worth it !
I totally hear you, bright, fun and punny are usually my 'go to', sounds like you have some great men in your life!
You have the sweetest voice and the BEST INSPIRING IDEAS! Thanks for sharing and God bless you!
Love all of them…..but who doesn’t love a piñata? Right? That was really cute. Thank you for sharing all your ideas with us Therese. I very much appreciate you.
Keep well.
T x
Hi Therese, My favorite was the last. So serene and formal in a way. You and your little Friends! Loved all the cards. Thank you.
Thanks so much Peggy, that last card was very popular. I love this design too, as it can be used for any occasion, from birthday to a sympathy card.
Love the textured card with black leaves and the tag. Love them all really and your sense of humor. Thanks for the ideas.
Cannot choose a favorite, but will be making one similar to the speech bubbles - so fun and quick!
I've made a couple of similar cards in the past including a Christmas version which was fun too!
I don’t know that I can pick a favorite! I think what I like best is that I have several of the stamps & dies that you used so you’ve given me new ways to use them. Yay!
Love them all but especially the last one with the leaves and the gift tag, very sophisticated. Thank you
The piñata card!!! My goodness! I need to buy everything to make that right now!
This little piggy went to market and giggled all the way home - and so did I! Such an adorable collection of scrap-y cards! My favorite? Of course, it's the grey! =] x
Of course it is my friend, it's 'grey' and there is 'embossing', I was thinking of you when I made it lol.
Oh, sooo pretty cards, Therese! I love them all, they're so stunning and beautiful!!!
Some of the best uses of colored paper scraps ever! You have such a good eye for this - these cards do not feel like the patterns are "forced" which is often the feeling I end up with when I try to use patterned paper for my cards. Thank you for some great ideas!
I just love both the Pig and the shaker card!! So darn cute!! I need more cute stamps and a few less flowery ones. Thanks Again!!!
I usually can't go past flowery stamps, but cute is definitely my second favourite lol.
Love the monochromatic card...just striking and so versatile! Runner-up are the fun speech bubbles! Thanks for all the great ideas...
I loved these cards. I always have a difficult time making masculine cards. These were perfect. 😊
Love this series! My favorite was the last one with texture and the black leaf - beautiful!
I just love that pinata, but they are all very fun! Thanks for the masculine cards. I'm always interested in cards that don't have flowers for the "boys" in my life.
I love the challenge of creating cards for men, I'm so glad you liked them
Great cards with some unique ideas. Love the piñata but the grey and black is my favourite. I always struggle with masculine cards and some of the ones you’ve made I wouldn’t think of as masculine but because they are funny means they can be brighter. Thanks Therese!😊
I know some card makers who use florals for masculine cards, but I haven't done that.... yet. It would have to be the right floral in the right context.
FABULOUS CARDS! I love them all but the piñata & the leaves are my favorites!!!
Well, l just love all the cards! The pig and the frog are adorable…
Thanks for sharing.
All of these ideas are wonderful and I have so many of the same products you used! I love your voice, your accent and your laugh! It’s all so soft and music-like! 😁
Oh Yay! How wonderful that you have these products, you must have good taste 😉
Loved them all but the last one was my favourite. The black leaves looked super.
I love all your ideas but the piñata made me smile the most, although, the crushing’ it tree frog ran a close second ❤
Totally worth watching, and the links by topic will make it easy to watch a specific technique again if I need to refresh my memory. Many thanks for including a way for me to use up some of the cardstock in my "can't stand the way it looks, can't make myself discard it" collection!
Really GREAT cards, Therese! It's always good to see masculine cards, & my favorite is your 'speech-bubble' card - so CLEVER!
I've done the speech bubble style of card a few times over the years, once where I added sentiments to each of the bubbles and one was a Christmas card design. It's really versatile and fun. And I'm so glad you like it Cheri!
Loved the grey shades card. What a lovely card from so many grey scraps. I think I have a paper pad full of grey patterns.... Lovely ideas in your videos. Thanks for sharing.
How wonderful Jan, thank you so much for your lovely visit here today. Hope you had fun with your 'shades' of grey!
Love the negative card with the cute pig and the crusin'it one but I'm with you, the pinata card wins!!!
I enjoy your videos and your laugh. Masculine cards are always a mystery but these ideas were great. Thanks
Loved them all, but the last one is my favourite one. Thank you for all the ideas. X
Such fabulous ideas Therese. Love them all but especially the speech bubbles one. Thanks as always for the fab inspiration - always need it for masculine cards🙌❤
I love the SSS piggy image, it's so fun! Fab cards as usual!
It's an oldie but a goodie, the whole set is fun, what a shame it's not available anymore.
Oh my, these cards made me smile today!! That pig, that frog!! I love the grey and black card too. I actually have that leaves die from SSS and can case that card. Thanks for the inspiration Therese!!
Excellent Lori, that leaves die is awesome and I was surprised it was still available as it feels like many years since I purchased it! Hope you have fun creating!
These are all absolutely incredible. Thanks for all the inspiration friend. Not sure I can pick a fave but that shaker is brilliant!
Hard to pick a favourite as they are all so different. The last card/tag is very elegant - but I reckon the frog one would have to be my #1 because it reminds me of my hubby 😁😁
All of them are my favourite! For being able to do it myself, though, I think I like the Crushin' It! card.
Love all your cards, especially the black & grey one! Thx for the inspiration!
Hi Therese. While all the cards were awesome, I have to say the tree frog one caught my eye for some reason. Thanks so much for the inspiration. I will definitely have to be a little more open to using up some of my strange coloured scraps. 😊🇨🇦
It's a great way to use scraps that you know you will never use. glad you liked them Brendaelaine!
I love them all, but my two favorites are the shaker and the last one with the texture.
Such great ideas - thanks so much!! I hope you had a great camping trip!
It's been fun so far (with a little rain on the way that may change lol.)
These cards are Uber cute! Thanks for all the great ideas. I need those shaker acetate card-fronts!
The A2 shaker card fronts are brilliant but you can also recreate something similar with acetate and packaging too.
I normally don't care for negative space designs but I LOVE your first card! What a hoot! It makes me laugh when you laugh!!! You've got a great sense of humor! I'll bet you're fun to be around!! Sorry, I don't mean to sound like a "creeper"!!! Using ugly paper instead of foam strips is a great idea. It seems so obvious watching you demonstrate the idea but I sure didn't think about doing it! DUH!! I don't even want to look at ugly paper! When I come across it in my stash, I wonder why I thought it was acceptable in the first place (lol)!!! TFS!
Thank you so much Gayle, you have made my day! Hope that your 'ugly' paper gets a work out lol.
I love these ideas so much. The stacked sentiment with those papers we don’t love is just brilliant! And that piñata one is hilarious! Thank you for these amazing ideas!
I really like them all Therese, but the speech bubble one really caught my eye. So customizable. This is a really great series. TFS
Wow just found you on utube and so happy I did. I love your tutorials. Can t wait to try some cards on my own. ❤
Awesome! Welcome Stacey, I'm so happy you are here, hope you find some more inspiration!
I like bright colours too ;-) not just for kids or men haha but I know what you mean. love them, the pig inside the balloon is my favourite this week
All great. Ale cards, but I think my favourite is the chillin’ frog❤
@@lostinpaper don’t know what happened there, but I clearly didn’t check what I typed. I guess you know I loved them all❤️
Brilliant. I love all of the techniques, negative space and the texture stood out for me as te ch inquest I could try. I loved the last card with the coordinating gift tag. Christmas cards with coordinating gift tags might be the way to go this year!
What a great idea, your Christmas cards and tags sound like they will be wonderful!
Hello from Illinois USA, love your inspiration. My favorite is the pinata shaker
I love the piggy card and the speech bubble cards the most, but as usual they are all great! The tag is simple but lovely. I have loads of patterned papers, I need to challenge myself to use them soon as it is never my."go to" card making method...
Needed ideas for Masculine Cards
I never have enough masculine cards in my stash, so it's good to get a few under the belt lol.
I love all your videos and card ideas, Therese. Every one gives me learning, training, ideas and primarily adds to my joy of making my own cards. You do bring joy and inspiration, two beautiful gifts. The pig and the shaker cards are my favourites today.
My friend took my Big Shot home and within a very few minutes she and her husband fixed it. They had to loosen some screws and my silicone mat pulled right out with no defect. Tools would be what I needed, not necessarily a man as I originally thought. 😄🇨🇦😃
That's wonderful news, I would be lost without my die cutting machine.... though, I could use my other one lol. but you know what I mean. Hope you are back to creating with your machine and enjoying the techniques Kirrie!
@@lostinpaper I did feel lost. Thankfully, I cut cardstock to make cards and panels, stamped a bunch of critters and coloured for a couple of weeks. Always something can be done. Thank you, as always for your good wishes. 💕💕
Great cards, all of them! I would have to say though that my fav is the pig one followed by the llama. But really, they’re all great!
Fabulous set of cards Therese, really different and eye-catching. Impossible to choose between them. Your sense of design and balance is so good - I suspect you have some graphic design training? Thank you for sharing your wonderful creativity ❤😘
Thanks so much Orla, I am trained in nursing so not much graphic design there lol. But I have always loved creating and when I was a kid I loved to draw. My mother is amazing at every craft she touches, so she was a big influence as I was growing up.
I love the piggy one. They are all very nice tho.
It's a shame that stamp set isn't available anymore, I still love it for masculine cards. Thanks for your lovely visit here Doreen!
Hi Terese, I love the Pig in the Balloon and the Piñata cards best, but they are all good. I see you are still using your ATG gun, I had to stop using mine as it was not sticking well to textured cards stock. I have recently bought smooth cardstock for my card bases, so I should be able to use it again, I just need the tape now. Regards Liz.
I haven't had any problems with the atg tape not holding (I always use the ATG brand refills). Though, if I need a 'strong' hold I will use Score tape or liquid glue instead.
Would you use the stitched letters and numbers for men’s cards that spellbinders has …….
WOW...I loved the pig, frog, masculine card & tag and then the talkers....LOL... they were great. You have stopped showing up in my e-mails again.... how do I get you back....
Thanks so much Valda! There are a few ways to subscribe to me, if you want my emails (the ones I write ever 2 weeks or so) that is easy to do, just apply for my freebie on my blog page. If you want notifications for every post I write you can also follow me on Wordpress, these are both at my blog www.lostinpaper.com and just for videos is by clicking on the 'bell' icon in TH-cam. If any of these have stopped working I would suggest 'resubscribing'. I also follow blogs using a blog reader, recently I started using Feedly which seems ok (I used to use Bloglovin but that isn't working for me anymore.) Hope this may help x
I’ve never made a card with a silhouette- thanks for the inspiration! That piñata is too darn cute!
