- The latest update bought us a new star path which gave us the opportunity to obtain some very cool furniture items that have been inspired from the disney parks. There was only one way to put this furniture to good use and create a theme park!
What is Disney Dreamlight valley?
This is a brand-new game that is still in early release and available on multiple platforms including the switch! The game is very similar to other cosy games such as Animal Crossing New Horizons and Stardew Valley. There are plenty of things to do and some great quest lines with your favourite disney characters!

I have DLV on switch and it suuuuucks! After every update they go two steps back with the lagging and random break downs and if you spend a good chunk of time on decorating and it just closes it is so frustrating. I hope they fix it for the switch when its fully out cause decorating is NOT fun at the moment..

I'm on Switch too and what did work a little was turning off all sound. Turning music to streamer-friendly mode helps alot too.
In System Settings on the Switch if you scroll down the bottom to - System - then to Console Screen Vividness - if it is set to Vivid change it to Standard.
After the update it would crash every 2 to 5 minutes but now I can manage to get a few hours worth of game time.
It's still heaps frustrating that it still crashes though 🥲

Honestly, I would've liked the theme park items more if they were actually useable.
My favorite furniture item from the starpath is the green bench. My favorite non furniture item ist the waffle backpack, so cute!

Farming definitely eats into your item limit 😢 I wanted to do plots of 100 for everything, but found out real quick that wasn't going to happen 😅 I had to do plots of 50 for all meadow and beach crops and for peppers and canola in the forest, and then I could do plots of 100 for all other crops, with a small plot of 25 for the eggs. I had to thin out trees (not so much that it feels unnatural thankfully) and get rid of all of the little and medium rocks to stay under limit... Your plaza looks gorgeous!!! 💖

I was so torn about what style to give my plaza cuz it is EMPTY besides Scrooge's and Remys buildings. So im glad these stuff came out. Waiting to log in my laptop to actually build in there since on switch it is a pain 🥴

I wonder how people would feel if they lifted the item limit and the game stopped functioning properly and was very laggy and crashed. I know as a switch user it already annoys me to no end when my game crashes. I think your plaza looks lovely.

What a cute build 😊 i didnt get many oppertunities to visit parks as a kid cause they never visited our area and we rarely traveled but this build really brought back some great memories! The best theme park food is deff funnel cake! Again thanks for this build! Such great memories! 😊 also, speaking about more expensive, i cant tell you how many times ive spent 9 bucks for a water bottle 😂

I love the way your centerpiece turned out! The iron fence does the same thing to me and I think I’ve seen other people talk about it glitching…hopefully that gets fixed at some point!

I don't hate it and you sure did a great job. Personally I avoid making things symmetrical. The amazing thing about this game is that we can all have great fun and satisfaction designing our own Disney World just the way we like them

I’m trying to build mine as a little forest amusement park but it is soooo hard because I feel like there’s not enough space! If I can’t make it work I may have to take inspiration from you and do it in the plaza.
The biomes do make it so hard to build!
Not me having almost the literal same plaza lol I put the frozen spitting fountains around my topiaries

I love this!! Very pretty 😍 & also, how did you manage to get the green screen?? I got the green screen when I had to do it for stitches quest & take a pic etc, but then it dissappeared (along with all the other things we had to take pics off, they just all disappeared & I have absolutely no clue how to get them back..) Please tell me how to get them back cause I would love to know? 🙈☺️
I cannot remember off the top of my head. Have you checked to see if it is now a DIY recipe? I feel that is how I got it!

You can craft it.
How did you get the ferris wheel twice, is it possible to buy the rides again if you don't own them yet?
Once you own the item you can order another from scrooge.

ok but can you ride any attraction? or is it just decoration without any function like in animal crossing?
You can turn them on and off but you can't ride them!
@@Fleurs_ sad, seems like a exact animal crossing copy, in disneyland adventures there was a way to ride lil attractions, like a short train or a mini rollercoaster which was special.
