Just like getting to know BTS, over time, their MV reveal deeper layers. In the beginning we can bearly tell Jungkook from Jin or that Suga, Yoongi and August D are all the same person. BU unravels, shadow/light; fire/water; choice/fate etc. Love finding little Easter eggs hidden in the scenes. Best of all the community of Army encouraging that discovery with hints not spoilers, such as cultural references, translations etc
Thank you for sharing this episode with us, Roscoe. We get more little clues in these behind the scenes and it's fun watching you have your "aha" moments. Our boys have been learning to emote for their performances from the very start, so they're quite good actors. Re: J-hope falling, he didn't need a stunt double doing that for him because they are masters of falling in their choreos. Remember that early video where 6 of the members were shot? Interesting that they used staff and managers as extras in the mv to save money but didn't pinch any pennies for the equipment to give them the best quality content. No need to re-do your early reaction, lol! This is a journey, remember? We zig and zag as we pick up additional clues. Looking forward to BU #6
The way Bangtan do it there is a shorter more fast paced MV shooting sketch that they put on the BangtanTV and then there is a much longer MV making film in their Memories of (insert year) DVD’s. So almost all the music vids have a much longer making film that you see things in more detail. Same for DNA, Fake Love etc. 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜 P.s the subs are so funny to me sometimes… esp as they translated JK saying the Korean singer Bobby Kim (male singer) as Barbie Kim (hilarious). Also he is calling Tae ‘Chingu’ (friend): as in let’s see what this friend can do… not the colloquial Americanised bro in the subs lol. P.p.s to the many saying the same things comment Roscoe = that’s not necessary true unfortunately… a lot of new ARMY from 2020 onwards esp get information from comments that are sometimes not fully correct in the first place without fact-checking them themselves esp about earlier years which then they go on to pass on that then become urban myths that get passed down… so do be careful of that… in this case however it is correct that they said the lyrics were supposed to be I need you friend but girl fit better. The best way of knowing if something is correct or not is if the person who says it can site the source they found this information out in themselves.
Yes, the translations are often different. Jimin said: "You hit me well", but that was translated: "oh well, he's a born hitter". For me that is a big difference.
YOU'RE STILL THE ONLY PERSON WHO THOUGHT TAE WAS AN ALCOHOLIC 🤡 Lol just saw myself say basically the same thing in chat right after I typed that... I STAND BY MY WORDS 😹 Edit : Honestly I started watching this when I got the notif because I totally forgot even watching you watch this live 💀 good to know past me had the same response though 🤡🤡🤡
just remember what jhope says here about his character, cause bighit decided to change things up later in the story, lmao. They take that part and twist it kinda strange. The BU got so messed up when BH tried to make it into a book.
Hi there, Roscoe. Oh, this is so cool that you're doing a reaction to the behind (the scenes) of the 'I Need You' MV. Jungkook explained his character, too, in this making of. Have a look :) Thank you for this. Looking forward to more. I might have missed some of the things you have put up on YT, and i will get to them soon! Take care!
I'm catching up and are on #5 BU video, and I just got an idea... what if the Japanese and original versions are played simultaneously to better connect the simbolisms between the two. !!! I've been "scared" to dive into the BU in my own because it's a wormhole, but I'm happy to do it with you. 😊
Yo Taehyung’s character was not an alcoholic it was his father😭😭 that’s why he's sitting contemplating if he want to go inside the house and face him but choose to just walk away. If the character is drunk to the point of being out of it (several bottles on the floor) , him walking steadily away after that shot makes no sense. You can unfold this more on the stigma short film. Each member has their own for each solo song.

Baby Bangtan so cute. Yes the BU has a lot of twists and turns, this is why ARMY are such good detectives
