I am in my later stages of Rahu Mahadasha currently in moon antardasha, i could really relate that you have contemplated about Rahu. The way and areas it effects someone's life depending upon its placement and conjunction. In my chart Rahu is in conjunction with Venus in my ascendant (Gemini).
