One item that I always seem to see underutilized is Echo chamber ! Id love to see some runs starting with it, as it always comes too late to see that giga value
I feel like it'd make you unable to use any pills though in fear they're bad. at least getting Echo Chamber half way you know what some of the pills are

It would be interesting to see how much Sacred Orb/Tainted Lost actually affected the items. You should do the run again, but manually enter the same seed. Obviously use another character and no Sacred Orb start. :)
I think an important thing to put up is how many runs it took to get this one. Last time you mentioned you did multiple Damo attempts, think it's worth mentioning how many attempts to get that god run, even if it's just in the description.

Of course Matt is going to post the best one, but counting the ones that were before it is also important so you could say "It took X amount of runs to get a crazy one with Sacred orb, but it took Y with glitched crown, so I should start with GC since it is higher odds" or vice versa.
Tainted Lost normally has a 20% to reroll "bad items" but the Scared Orb brings that to 33% (They don't stack). Could pick a better character for this, but still nice run. Nice going Matt

Not exactly, Tainted Lost and Sacred Orb remove different items from the pools. Sacred Orb removes any item of quality 0 or 1 but Tainted Lost removes basically anything useless or defensive (which means there’s still some quality 0 or 1 in the pools).
@@laineyw7257 I was just saying the reroll chance doesn't stack. Plus there are some pretty good defensive items out there, so using the orb on someone else would still be a good run
17:30 you see, rocks have round hotboxes, they in circle shape, mushroom's tear touched you because your hitbox was out of rocks circle (it would make more sense if we would call them hitcircles ☝🤓 )
1:29 interesting fact, just recently I had a run as the forgotten trying for mother, downpour floor found sacred orb in angel room, in mausoleum item room, item was worm friend but my run was already decent so took blind item and it was anti-gravity and I had to change where to go (I am terrible with the item, luckily skeleton version of him has a synergy but I had to go to blue baby because I need range to attack and dodge mother) Fun fact: I’m pretty sure anti-gravity is the only quality 2 or higher item that I cannot play with (oh and not to mention that quality 2 items have a 33% chance to be rerolled…)
Not picking up glowing hourglass and switching it for R Key to get 2 pedestals for rerolling the secret room is technically a Mattman moment. Okay maybe not this was still a pretty absurd rig
Montezuma would be more viable if it had infinite range like brim. It could still fire backwards and be awkward/have its own unique mechanic, but the close-up requirement of it makes it (literally) crap

I've told you before but you never remember. If you run into an active item right as you use R-Key/Forget Me Now, you can take the active item with you. The timing is pretty tight but it's a useful piece of information

Mom's knife is good damage like soy is good damage. It is shit unless you can consistently git targets. The difference is that with soy you at least get to keep your synergies
