- The War Within is currently in it's Beta and we got our first look at all the New Hunter Pets!
So in this Video I will show you all the new Creatures in the new Zones in all their Color Variations and also where to find them.

UPDATE: There ARE Pets that I missed! One of them is a Spirit Beast, but so far it is not known how to obtain it.
I am working with the Secret Finding Discord to solve this Mystery and I will make another Video about the Pets I missed when we figure it out!

the undercrawlers are based on a real critter called a vinegaroon or whip scorpion. most people are familiar with them from the Harry Potter films because the scene where the unforgivable curses are used in class. they come in all kinds of shapes and are even kept as pets.
its the mudskipper because of his durpy walking animation XD and how confused he is looking around XD i freaking love it XD

May I ask how much time you spend on these Videos? The way they are edited seems much more time consuming than most Videos om TH-cam with some really nice Transitions and effects.
I used to be an editor myself and I can‘t imagine how long this took.
Also my favorite WOULD be the Salamanther, let‘s hope we get it!

I would say I worked a total of about… roughly.. 12 Hours on this Video.
BUT you have to remember, the Beta is freshly out, WoW-Petopia has no informations on the Pets yet, so I had to explore all the Zones, find the Pets in all Colors by myself, make myself notes, get good shots of them with Narcissus and so on.
And only then I could really start to write a Skript and start editing :)
But yeah, I take a lot of time for the Editing to get some smooth transition, Wide Shots of the Zones, fitting Backgrounds and Effects in the Videos :)

On the Beta they are not tameable, but who knows, perhaps that changes at some point 🤷♂️

I never knew I wanted a pet mudskipper, but now I know that a mudskipper is the only pet I ever truly wanted. Give us a mechanical and a spirit beast version too and I will main hunter for at least a few years. An undead mudskipper too please!

Cinderbees 🫠🥹😱😱😻 and the moles, the moths. All cute pets. I can’t wait. I’m still working on valdrakken and Iskarra accord to get the pets from those zones (Ottuks and lesser dragon kin).
Do the Bee stay same size to shrink when tamed ?
Hey, the Bees are at a pretty decent size while tamed.
Some of the Mobs are Bigger than others so it's difficult to say if they shrink because some of them do, some of them don't :)
I find the amount of new pets very disappointing. But not only that; I also think there's way too many 'creepy' or 'icky' beasts.
Basically only the Lynx looks good to me.
It‘s about the same amount of new Pets as usual and if you more into more.. let‘s say.. elegant beasts, yeah that‘s a bit rough for you, agree.
But hey, at least you got the Lynxes!

If you wanna run +15s yeah maybe, but Keystonemaster is easily doable with any other Pet-family aswell.
And in PvP you mostly go with Raptors anyways
Despite that, you can still collect them for appearances of the Direbeasts.

I remember my Devilsaur in Wrath being able to grow in size and increasing damage, making him damn huge.

But you still can't take slime and slugs, maggots and flies... so much for decay hunters... Looks like Nurgle got replaced by woke and cute pets instead of the ones players wanted.
I missed some of the „older“ pets, that become tameable, since it‘s still the Beta and things are still changing.
Slugs are actually one kind of them and the Cinderbees are pretty similar to Corpseflies imo.
So I guess that‘s fine?

I'm happy to tell you that the Undercrawlers are in fact based on a real life order of arachnids known as whip spiders. They are really fascinating and freaky looking but harmless.
I’m also in beta and found something else cool in hallowfall, it’s not a new model, but a new look. It’s called the malefic goat, it’s a goat with a huge void effect and it retains it when tamed

@@GarroshTV there’s actually different npcs, there’s malefic goats in a green area not too far from the entrance, and there’s also untameable versions in a red area next to azj-kahet

There is a Goat with some Void effects.
First I thought it‘s not teameable, but Apparently there is another one aswell, that works :)
I think I like the Undercrawlers the most, they are really cool!
Also, is the music you used the music of the Fitting Zones? Because for me on the Beta there is no music

And no, sadly there is no music for the Zones yet.
For the Isle of Dorn I used music from Stormsong Valley
For the Ringing Deeps i used Zaralek Caverns
For Hallowfall I used the Arathi Highlands Warfront Music
And for Azj-kahet I used tor Sarkareth Boss music :)

The lynx model looks amazing,,,, the lynx in the blood elf starting place really need this update, plus the darkspears catform can have this model with saber teeth, so they get a primal smilodon look.

Yeah video is about hunter pets i know, but i wish to see more battle pet related "new" content in the game, not just adding more and more pets, also current pet battling mechanic feels quite old now, not just the mechanic itself, covering of old expansion pets, their skill animations etc too feels old, i really wish some day we will hear an announcement about pets and pet battles with a title "We are remastering battle pet contents in detail" or something like that 🙏
Last time I really did Pet Battle Stuff was acutally in MoP, so I can't speak from experience here, but I definetly agree that Pet Battles need some more Content.
Like the Celestial Tournament back on the Timeless Isle or the Hatchlings and fitting mounts from Legion.
Yeah, the Battle Mechanics also feel a bit outdated at this point, but they still work pretty good in my opinion, but we could definetly need some more content for that!
The one thing I want with hunters is that I can change the specc, I also want to use mecha pets with my goblin, which looks like a high-tech hunter, but the specc is crap. Ferocity or nothing!

As a beastmaster should i realy go for exotic pet?
At this point Exotic Beasts are basically just a Bonus for Beastmasters. So they can have extra beasts the other specs can‘t have.
Combatwise they are not really better, but Spiritbeasts can heal you, which comes handy in Solo Content :)
I feel like they could’ve made more… like new bats, snakes, GIVE US SOME NEW FOXES. But also I really wish we could tame baby animals. I like my pets to be as small as possible for a scale that doesn’t look ridiculous. lol. It’s hard to find. Even with that smaller pet glyph. I’ll probably just be keeping my otter as my main pet for the next expansion though.
Keep in mind, that we will get loads of new Pets with every major Patch.
The Zaralek Caverns alone has given us like 8 New Pet Models after all!
Is there a way to take the Great stormfang in Isles of Dorn?
Not the Great Stormfang itself, but there is the Spirit Beast "Hati", which is locked behind a short questline. So if you are a Beast Master Hunter you can get the same appearance in up to 6 different Color Variations (inclusing the one you saw)

Why no Stats of the Pets?
Because It‘s still the Beta and some of the Stats changed almost daily, so I decided to not include that yet :)

Probably grab a lynk wish they had shadow lynk or hope something dark enough to go with dark ranger. Definitely grabbing a mudskipper
There are 2 other Lynxes in Hallowfall, that got added later on during the Beta. They can be found far in the east of the Zone, basically directly after entering Hallowfall from the Ringing Deeps.
A Grey Version and a Black Version, you mught want to check them out :)

Thanks, I have not played much except off and on, since the first or second patch of BFA. I am always looking at hunter pets though. I like the Lynxes, but I do not think it would get in my rotation of pets that I use.

as a hunter i am really liking the Mudskipper in the beta when you tame it they called it a Hopper . also i do like the updated to the Lynx but didnt get to tame one yet on the Mudskipper and Mole so far as a hunter i like the cat pets still have my original one

Haha taming the moles when there's a humanoid race of them...that reminds me of back when with a glitch, you could tame a Worgen back in WOTLK, and that patched quickly because Worgen humanoid NPCs existed in Grizzly Hills + later they were a player race.
Yeah, sadly I missed getting my own Worgen.

Theres a red eel too which was tamable in the beta but was probably not supposed to be. It remained ns takable afaik though.

The eel wasn‘t tameable at first, but got added later on, so I added him in a later video :)
@@GarroshTV hope he stays tamable. We can hope. If he does and then it gets removed later. It'll be like old pets where you can keep them if you tamed them before the removal. Like the worgen you used to be able to tame.

But the Wolf from Dustwallow was a Wolf, not a Spiritbeast, so you can still use it as MM or SV hunter :p
Im not a hunter main, but feel like pets are kinda meh in retail. All have the same stats, moves, no talents... Classic did it right. Pets felt like a real buddy with a soul. And they mattered! Kinda wish they would remove my pet as a marksman. Feels better not having one at this point. 😅
I definetly get your point, back then you really bonded with your pet, especially since you had to feed it all the time.
They are mostly Cosmetic at this point, unless you play pvp
As a Marksman you can skill „lonely wolf“ to deal more dmg without your pet though!

WoW's earlier in-game art might have been low poly and vaguely cartoony, compared to photorealistic graphics, but from a design perspective, it still matched the gritty tone of warcraft's fantasy setting well.
These days it feels more like a disney production.

Perhaps you can say that for the Mudskippers and maybe the Rams, but if you looks at the Undercrawlers, the Jawcrawlers or the Swarmites I really don‘t see anything Disney in them

The Worms and the Swarmites are my least favorites, but since they also come with different designs, apart from the Colors, I think they are still a great addition!
Let me be real with everyne and say what everyone thinks whetheter openly or sercretly. No one gives a shit about the mounts, I had almost all obtinable mounts in Bfa and let me tell you it feels like nothing, empty dead, meaningless. Fuck mounts, fuck wow.
Oh also if you want an actully cool, unique moiunt and want it, be prepared to cash in.
Okay cool, now let me be real here and say what every one really thinks:
First if all, this Video is not about Mounts.
Second, the vast Majority of the Playerbase basically has Number 1 Priority to farm Mounts. They do Keystonemaster to get their Mount, they do Arena to get Mounts, they go raiding and hope to get the Mount from the Final Boss, they do open World Activities dor Mounts, they farm Reputation for Mounts, they run old Content for Mounts.
Third, if you had almost all obtainable Mounts in BfA, you just proof that you are one of the people who think Mounts are relevant.
Fourth, fuck your attitude. If you hate on the Game, stop lurking under TH-cam Videos to spread your empty, dead meaningless opinion. Get a Life.

@@GarroshTV I'll admit my shortcomings. Having played the game since 2006, I have seen the changes first-hand. Been there done that from PVP maxed out gear to RP, PVE, guildmaster with over 250 members (which I gave away to some awesome guildmates). Tamed EVERY pet I wanted to or could, only to find Blizzard watering down every cool pet's ability and homogenizing all pets to be the same with only cosmetic changes. There is no challenge to the game. I have moved on. It holds my interest, true, but from a distance. Much luck with your channel.
these are awful, they put so little effort into the tameable pets. If I want a cute cuddly pet I would just pet hunt/battle but hunter pets should be fierce, scary and standout. Core hounds remain among the top tameable model of pet and that was classic wow 20 years ago.

There is really just the Mudskipper as a „cute“ pet, and you really can‘t say they put non effort into them.
The Designs are unique, there are different variations within the Pets (not just color, but horns, manes, stingers, noses, antlers and so on)
Yeah, Corehounds are awesome, but so are Cinderbees or Ramoliths.
Swarmites are cute and cuddly?
