Absolutely for me personally it’s the best fishery in the uk not just for the fishing but the scenery and how relaxed and nice the staff are I know it’s more expensive but as the saying goes you get what you pay for..as you know you’ve fished there a lot
Avington is without doubt my favourite fishery, going back over the last 15 years or , I had a great respect for the late Bob, who on my very first visit, brought a cup of tea and a bacon roll to me on lake 2, free of charge… We chatted for nearly an hour and that time just flew bye… a giant of a man in the trout fishing world. Aaron and dangerous Dave do a wonderful job in looking after and developing Avington, I am really looking forward to getting back there once I get my shoulder sorted.. Keep the videos coming Luke, they are quality viewing for all of us… Thank you for all your support my friend

Thanks mate glad you enjoyed it yes I was lucky that day had it to myself I think people have forgotten about avington even though it was the original big fish water Aaron makes sure they still have the best fishery and best quality lean fish on my opinion it’s still the best fishery in the uk for big fish and stalking
Thanks range the line on my 7wt is a Rio grand elite the line on the 4wt is a Rio creek both amazing lines for each rod size and use best I’ve tried 👌🏼 and avington is catch and kill on rainbows browns are discretion but they don’t come off your ticket defo makes it value for money that’s if they are on the feed 😅
@@Full_on_flyfishing Would be a shame to kill those browns! I found the elite lines very coily. Have used the creek and it is a nice line. Very supple.
Really that’s a shame I’ve only found one problem with the line as with all low stretch lines it can start to crack! Apart from that great line great for distance in my Opinion! And I think all the purists would agree with you on that with the browns much rather see them go back than go in the freezer! Catch and release all day if it’s fishery rules 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼

Hi Kieth it’s called a yeti side kick it can clip on the back or across the front it’s all fully submersible / waterproof lovely bit of kit check them out on TH-cam there’s some good product reviews 👌🏼
I have 2 hardy ultralite ones 7wt one 4wt one for stalking one for dries ended up using the 4wt casting heavy flies that why my casting looked sloppy but the fight is better 😜😂🤙🏼
