@@DhukelReze He makes his money doing it, goes from doctor to doctor accusing them of malpractice and filing a suit then agreeing to drop it for a settlement. Sad truth is the settlement costs less than going to court and winning so most places will just settle. That's why he was seeing someone so far out of his normal living area in the first place.
House claimed he had Gonorrhea since now the guy doesn't know one way or the other but since he's suing house he can't find out until the lawsuit is concluded.

I am so glad with all the hundreds of Vicodin I took I NEVER got a rush, feel good off them. They just helped with pain. Same for morphine, few others. But if I took more then 2 I often threw up.

And I took thousands over the course of 30 years. Morphine too, just sporadically.
Only one "high" when I picked up somebody's drink that had a good amount of vodka.
And now? Lucky to get anything stronger than an ibuprofen.
I'm going in for heart surgery with a guarantee. Morphine the day of surgery and the following day. Then vicodin as needed.

She knows that if the baby is not his and she goes through with it, one day he will find out. She is not worried about him, she is simply concerned with her own image of herself, if there is no proof then it never happened. An all too common trait today. (In both men and women)
Totally the right thing not telling him about the mistake. i don't want to be married to someone who is cheating, but let's say this kind of thing happened, and we reconciled. I would absolutely not want to be told. Perhaps it's the lapsed catholic in me, but confession happens in a church with a priest. Then you repent and stop doing bad things. You don't pollute your relationship. Also, that abortion decision has got to be gut wrenching. I'm 100% pro choice and a guy, but we know that after a certain point, the baby is very likely to go to term, at least assuming access to care (which is a big if in this country, sadly.) I don't think it's a legal person, but the mother is thinking of it as 'the baby.' having to terminate that would not be a call i'd ever want to have to make.
@emu314159 It really depends. I’d say it’s a legal person once it’s viable. So I’m pro-choice, but also in favor of limits, like the ones they have in Europe. This is a debate that will never be settled because both sides of the issue make sense, they just come from different places.

Fun fact: He got that game from an autistic child he treated. The kid was obsessed with the handheld game, but upon his discharge, he gave it to House. It was a sign of the kid reaching out through autism, but also related to House digging on Wilson because his pediatric patients often gave him gifts (toys,etc) as a thank you

The only problem with vicodin is how weak it is. I get more relief from advil than vicodin. However better off with Vicodin than Percocet's, those things are super addictive and the last thing you want is that addiction.

One of the best comedies ever to be written. Season 1 was not as good as the rest however. But so worth watching for all the other British comedy greats in it.

Every episode was the same. Patient presents with a quandary of symptoms, they try everything & always comes up empty, then when the patient is right on the cusp of dying, House gets an epiphany & saves the day. Almost every show I grew up with had this tried & true story line. The villain puts the girl on the railroad track, the train whistle is heard, the train is in sight & right before she gets squashed, the hero (be it Superman, Lone Ranger or Dudley Doright) steps in & saves the girl.
Well, the formula worked. House went down as one of the greatest shows in television
It is formulaic. Right down to the soft piano music accompanying the slow motion warm glances, etc. Still, I watch it as long as House has a good presence on the show.
Look at Law and Order: SVU, NCIS, 9-1-1; all these types of shows (including House) are formulaic. Even sitcoms like TBBT and Everybody Loves Raymond were formulaic to some degree. They always feature one-off episodes with some storylines woven in here and there. They aren't like Breaking Bad, Buffy, or The Sopranos-the type of shows that have long-season story arcs with built-in character arcs.
The catch here being that House is a endearing asshole

Loved "House", Hugh Laurie just was perfect in the role, with American accent backed his acerbic British delivery. In the latter seasons the leftest propaganda got a bit thick though.

The mondo Houser shows are very short always less than 10 minutes because of the primitive mondo TVs they had back then. The old old old TVs could not hold more than 10 minutes of show as they used CRT Catholic Ray Tubs technology and non Dylan Mulvaney CLT or Claw Technology. No harm no fowl. They tried Dylan Mulvaney to shorten the shows advertising and tried to produce a non racist TV set with Motorola involvement with flypaper control and Dylan Mulvaney CEO.
