Hi… I had the check engine lite come on about 2 days after I upgraded my map sensor relocation by banks … I pulled the code P2209… is it ironic that the CEL came on after I did the banks map sensor relocate ? Any pointers ??
Ok… I even went as far as putting a new map sensor just too make sure I didn’t mess it up when I switched it over … it was good for about 3 days and the light just came back on tonight Should I put it all back too stock before I take it too dealer ??
2020 6.7 here. If I ever get this code, I wonder if just replacing the sensor would clear the code. Not a fan of the dealer and don’t have access to the programming software. Good content!
Just sensor replacement won't fix it. You have to tell the computer it has a new one. It also programs the nox module to the latest calibration. I wish it was as easy as a just a replacement. Unfortunately not.
@@BeardedFordTech As a homebody mechanic, I would say that’s a step above what most wrench turners like myself are comfortable with. However, if you were to make a forscan instructional programming video, that would be very helpful to the community. I think I would give it a shot then. Just an idea for a future video if you come across this issue. Best, OSM
@OldSoulMillennial I do agree to that 100% but the thing with forscan. You can program modules like thay. I'll have to reach out to zoodad. All im aware of is you can just change things and turn things on and off. Not software updates I'll have to look into this more
Hi , I gotta question. On September 11 I got a P24FE and I cleared the code with my idash . It never came back but now I’m getting white film on my exhaust tips and rear quarter panel. It wipes off with a rag. What do you think is going on?? Also, I forgot about talking to you before and I cleared the code. Would it still be in memory history? 22 6.7 built April 1, 2022
@mjbskidoo the white residue is def. It's overdosing on def fluid because of that nox code. It should be in historical DTC's and they should be able to see them and get that fixed.
@@BeardedFordTech sorry one more question. Can I pull up historical dtc’s with Forscan or idash to see if it still shows that code??? Also if I take it in to a dealer should I just unplug my pedalmonster so I don’t have any issues??
@@mjbskidoo you should be able to see it in forscan. I would unplug the pedal monster. It's not going to hurt anything if you don't. But they may see that and give you some BS run around. So. Just unplug it and tuck it under the dash so they can't see it.
I think I have to turn in my man card. I took my bike to the shop to have the spark plugs replaced rather than go buy the tools to do it myself this week. I hang my head in shame.
If you own a powerstroke you better have a lot of time on your hands to be going back and forth to the dealer . Not picking on Ford is probably the same with the rest of them also.
Thanks!
@@EthanBonardel your welcome.

I put a relocate from banks on like 6 of my fleet trucks. Not one check engine light. So you may be experiencing an actual fault

@TheKennyz81 yeah I would so they don't try to say it's not covered

Nice pallet you got there.
@kingranch8516 that's one of my small pallets. Just a stocker order on a few things before I run out.

Uh ohh. Won't take your card. But you get a point deducted

If you maintain it. Shouldn't be a problem. This was due to programming that fries the sensor. All of them Chevrolet ram everyone has issues
@@BeardedFordTech I'm talking diesels in particular
