I think Riccardo is of a frame for Yulia than partner, and he frames her very well. Its easy to see how they're doing so well together. But there is worlds more chemistry between Yulia Max, and entertaining to boot

They are totally flawless. I think this vid might be mislabled, though. that is way more of a swing than a jive. Even the song says so ^^
I would say this is labeled correctly. As a previous ballroom dancer I can confirm that this is a classic jive routine/choreography. They have that fast pace double bounce you see less of in classic swing. In swing you shuffle or glide more (depending on the swing style). West coast, east cost and other regions also have different basic steps and rules.
Most of the steps in jive can be very similar to swing, but the tempo in jive is also known to be much faster (like this routine in the video). Most of the steps in this choreography also covers the basics/definition of a ballroom jive. However to your defense jive is technically a swing dance, so they have a lot in common.

Максим и Юлия замечательная и уникальная пара была, каждый их номер был ярким и неповторимым, тем что хочется смотреть и ловить каждое движение, как будто это спектакль, как история, и это шедевр и новое в парном танце... Уверена, они бы сделали яркую историю в развитии танца, но Юлия амбициозна, ей нужны были победы в мировых профессиональных конкурсах, ей не хотелось творить историю, а Максим творец, его поиски, его желание творить новое, к сожалению он мог воплотить всё это только с таким партнёром как Юлия, она не просто профессионал, она лучшая. Жаль, очень жаль что они расстались. Их планы не совпали. Ей нужны были победы награды и признания, а Максим обожествлял танец,настоящий творец. Все эти конкурсы скучные, в основном все танцуют одно и тоже, набор движений под музыку, а Максим и Юлия танцевали по настоящему, каждое движение было именно там где надо, не было лишних движений, танец был живой, а не набор движений. Сейчас её партнёр Риккардо, и да, они божественная пара, награды победы и признания они получили, но прорыва в мировой истории танца не будет.

It's called the moving tunnel
Slavik is not better dancer. Actially one can not compare Max and Slavik. They are very different dancers. Max is mach smaller and by nature can not dominate dance flour like Slavik can. Insted he does very sharp movements with a lot of details and very saturated routine. Very smart dancing, as it create ideal background for small Yulia, making her softer movement more notisable. Max is allway coming to bit faster. He is definatly brains behind this couple.

So wonderful! Julia is always so wonderful and this is such a long time ago! I love Max. I think he’s more interesting and entertaining than Riccardo. Max’s costume (with white sleeves and shoe tops) make his dance moves more visible. What happened to Max?

Why not? He was fantastic in my opinion. I wish I had half of his abilities or the opportunity to travel back in time and watch him dance again. His technique and rhythm/groove is flawless, he doesn't over do the facial expressions like many ballroom dancers do (he keeps it natural), he has great musicality and he is a solid performer. What more can you ask for?
I guess he is not the most attractive bloke in the world, but that shouldn't matter when you're judging the dancing. Unfortunately a lot of ballroom fans in the community pay more attention to how attractive you are, rather than how good your dancing is. Yulia on the other hand is blessed. She has the looks and she can dance amazingly. However Max was a great partner with great partnering skills. She would not manage to execute half of those moves correctly if Max didn't have enough strength to lead and support her.
In my opinion Max and Riccardo are both fantastic for Yulia, but Max will always be my personal favorite out of them two.
Seriously? Max and Yulia are perfection. Look at their beautiful long lines. Ricardo is too short for Yulia and not as attractive as Max.

Максим классный партнер. Понимет, что этому танцевальному стилю нужна спортивность, легкость и юмор. А Юлии по душе драма и ласвегосовский дешевый шик. Что у ниx с Рико и получилось.
Позвольте с вами не согласиться. Максим талантливый танцор и хореограф, их с Юлей пара была великолепной.! В той паре лидером был Максим. Одновременно Юля была с ним на равных.
Рикардо Профессионал с большой буквы. Ему достался бриллиант и он стал достойной оправой. Этим ювелирным шедевром уже много лет имеют возможнось любоваться миллионы поклонников!!!
Каждый пошёл своим выбранным путём, тем к которому стремился.
Такие как Макс всегда в поиске, им всегда чего-то не хватает или на определённом этапе они считают свою миссию выполненной. Огромное -преогромное спасибо Максиму Кожевникову за его талант и за Юлю, 10-ти кратную чемпионку Мира!!!
Ничего себе , дешевый шик ???? 10-ти кратные чемпионы мира - дешевый шик? Я не специалист в этом вопросе, но на мой дилетантский взгляд, лучших танцоров, чем Рикардо и Юлия я не видела. Все прекрасно танцуют, а они парят над паркетом, озоруют, играют, кайфуют, наслаждаются танцем. Равных им нет!
