Irony really is that is pretty much the same location that the sunday rides went from in the early 80s. Great to see.
Although everything is very different now , standing in that area brings it all back Brian… seems like yesterday 👍
I had a Lambretta SX150 from 1969 -71 in the Skinhead days........we use to all meet up in Sutton Park Sunday afternoons on the corner by Town Gate.....and remember one Bank Holiday in 1970 we all went to Stratford upon Avon......hundreds of Skinheads Lambretta/Vespa's....
That would of been a sight to be seen Gary ! .. I remember seeing early 70s skinhead scooters , the lad across the road had one with loads of mirrors on it .. I tried to copy by putting some on my chopper ! .. didn’t quite have the same effect though. … happy days 👍🍻

Yeah use to be trouble just getting to there for the Sunday run.i had brand new go at the time all chrome with loads of mirrors before scooterboy days
