There's a quote from this show that lives in my head to this day. I don't know if I remember it exactly but it's: Method's Mom: "Why do those hoochies have my meatloaf?" Method: "Meatloaf!?" Red: "Hoochies!?"
Once you notice that one person in the audience who laughs just a bit longer than everyone else, you can IMMEDIATELY tell whenever a show uses canned laughter. I can’t believe that Method & Red can be considered lost media, we need a Director’s Cut Blu-Ray release and quick!
I actually remember this show!! I was 19 when it premiered, & living in Houston, with some wealthy relatives, in a Fresh Prince of Bel-Air type situation, at the time. ( I swear this is true). I actually only remember the Kenny Loggins episode, though, but i think it'd be cool to go back & watch the episodes, again. Thanks for providing some background info about it. For me, it was their characters from How High, & their lives after college, lmao, even though they were now playing themselves, & Anna Maria Horsford was now playing Method's mom!
Yes, I watched this show when it premiered on Fox. I was too young to understand what Meth & Red were going through with the direction of the show. The only I did wish was them showing the entire season before they pull the plug and only showed 9 eps
Dude - sometimes I see your video concepts and I’m like did we live the same life and watch all the same things. What an obscure show to do a video on but so relevant to me- I’m such a Methodman and redman fan I was so pumped for this show- it was near impossible to find online when released as it wasn’t screened here in Australia. When I finally found a steam for it I realised I wasted my time as it was such a piece of shit show
I honestly only found out about this show a few years back, but I like to step out of my content comfort zone from time-to-time. But yeah its really unfortunate because Method Man and Redman have great comedic chops, FOX just didn't know what to do with them.
this show wasnt supposed to be for everyone and Red and Meth make that kinda clear lmao thats all ima say. But this shouldve been on a different network different time slot. FOX killed the show
I actuallly watch the episodes on occasion and i gotta say this. Even though i'm a mega fan of Red and Method, the show gets progressively worse with every viewing. It had the Hip Hop-isms without the seasonings though, meaning it's white as shit. Always had the feeling Meth and Red didn't really want the show to be like it ended up. The on screen chemistry between them is there but their acting just doesn't feel natural.
This show came out when I was in grade 6. I read about it in the TV guide when it announced the new shows coming. Saw this show be mentioned and read to skip the episode...and I watched about three episodes of it, forcing myself to say it was funny. Looking back I just wanted to say that I watched every episode of a show. Now that I can, I can see that this show was butchered.
It was called Crashing with Method Man & Redman: th-cam.com/video/SUIjjy-eqrg/w-d-xo.htmlsi=IVcp6zHU6zTS4wpU I almost brought it up in this video but decided not to for whatever reason. Really funny special!
Thanks for watching 😎

How have I never heard of this
This reminds me of the time that Nickelodeon gave Romeo his own show.
Good point! I remember catching that a few times when I was a kid.
@@MediaPastimes Surprisingly that show lasted 3 seasons with 53 episodes which is a lot for a show that people barely talk about or remember.
@PeterGriffin11, LMAO, I forgot all about that series!
"Putting the urban in suburban" Let's you know exactly how they saw this show😂😂😂

Wow I remember this show! It’s really sad that they couldn’t even finish airing the last few episodes

It’s an awesome sitcom ,
Really funny
I just watched the show, and it was so funny 🤣😂😂
I loved this show. It had endless possibilities .
Great video man. Never heard of this show until now. Definitely wanna check it out
I Thought for sure i was the only one who remembed this show! Great Vid.
It's a shame, because Method Man, for short Mr. Meth (Movin' on your left, ah!) is a great actor in everything I've ever seen him in.
I’ve liked him in everything I’ve seen him in. I’ve heard that he killed it in “The Deuce” on HBO but I have yet to check that out.
Lets be honest here..We all know MTV stole that Stung show concept and hired Kutcher for less than what Red and Method wanted
Classic 👌🏽 and the theme/background songs are lit 🔥 to boot
This had potential I still rewatch these. Methodman really got in his character he needs to be a go to ensemble actors same with Red.
That show wasnt made for Fox

i always wanted to know what happened to the show when i was a kid thanks for some closure lol
I Membah! I watched the first episode live
Wish this show wouldve been what it could've been

Wasn’t there a reality tv show where they actually moved into a house with rich white people?
