I really liked that, for some reason I feel pressured for not wearing tampons. But I don’t have so much flow and its hurt to have even the smallest tampon, so pantyliners and pads are a must go for me.

True. It would be great though like Lindsay said if they would actually create period panties/swimwear, whatever that could handle every type of period out there with absolutely no leakage. I’ve tried period panties but it does no good on my heaviest day. I still leak. Isn’t that the whole point of period panties where you don’t need to rely on wearing a damn pad or tampon and can use rely on the panty only to catch the blood with no transfer or leakage? I want a 100% leak proof panty/swimwear for the heaviest days where we don’t need to wear a pad or tampon. I want to wear period panties and that’s it and know that I have nothing to worry about. That would be great for us ladies. I hate wearing pads. It feels like a damn diaper. I hate wearing tampons as well because they just never feel comfortable using them for me at least. Just give me the panty to handle my period would be great.

My friends use them with tampons and I use mine with a cup on my heavy days. I have saved so much by not needing to buy tampons, pads or liners.

I am a pad user that swims on the reg. The period bikini bottoms are great for an hour's swim. I don't use it on my heaviest day (mainly cause of period poops!), but the rest of the cycle it works great 👍🏻 You don't wear it for an entire day, on your heaviest day, cause it's not a diva cup, it's like a standard pad. You have a couple of hours
I feel like to truly conduct a good experiment with this they need a control. Like they all need to wear a normal bathing suit on another day of their period, doing all the same things, conduct the same test and see if anything different happens.
This has been rlly helpful to know because I’ve been thinking about getting something like this because for my summer job I have to take a swim test at orientation so I’m able to give kids swim tests later on and I haven’t learned to use tampons yet I don’t think this works as well so I think I’m just gunna try my best to learn 🤷♀️
Getting out of a lake with streams of blood running down my legs is among my top 3 nightmare situations, so I would never trust this swimwear on my heavy-flow days, but maybe on the other days. Not that I really leave the house on the heaviest flow times anyway. But this is an interesting concept.

The think is with the swimwear , your period/flow stops in the water but a bit may come out but they’re mainly for when you get out so that blood dosent run down your leg or anything or basically just leak

Lindsey made me feel better because she is a pad user. I personally use pads only when I am on my period (I use tampons when I am swimming or exercising) because they are easier than tampons. I feel like we are living in a tampon world and at first I felt shameful for wearing pads but now I do not care because I do what makes me feel comfortable.

When you swim, you don't bleed. I'm a competitive swimmer and I have never faced any problems of leaking out of my swimsuit during my period when I entered the pool.
This isn’t universally true. For me it slowed down my flow but didn’t stop it entirely, and lots of my teammates had leakage issues because they were told it wouldn’t flow in the water. The other problem is that even if you don’t bleed in the water, most of people don’t spend all their time in the water. If you’re sunbathing, walking along the beach, or jumping in and out of the water, you’re gonna need some sort of system in place. Menstrual cups and tampons have been what I have the most luck with but it isn’t a foolproof system either.
the thing about her sitting in a bathtub is, that i feel like the pool is bigger it won't be noticeable unless you sit and it bleeds out or it poors out the sides. :)
One time I was at a swimming camp and on the first morning I got my period so I wore one of these swim suits but on Thursday it leaked and it was so embarrassing
Did you know swimming helps relive the stress on our mussels (stress in our mussels is why we cramp) and orgasms NOT saying you have to have shrex with your partner to orgasm ..shrex toys can be an alternative way as well

Just so everyone knows you aren’t actually bleeding in the water. the pressure change from the water stops your bleeding. however, the second you get out it will be niagara falls.
Im a water baby and swim no matter what, i can't resist not going in the sea, i didn't know most girls don't go swimming with their periods though, i always just wear a pad and some swimming shorts, and the flow starts back in like 30 minutes, so i just run up to a toilet before then and change it quickly
OK I definitely wanted to see this because my periods be heavy!!!!!!!!! Heavy. I bleed 🩸 so much ahh. However now that I’m in my elarly 30’s it’s calm down a little I went from using 2-3 hospital pads a day. (Super plus overnighters size 6). To just one hospital pad a day. I’m still on the heavier side but not as much as before. But I definitely liked using menstrual disc. Menstrual disc has help me reduce waste and help with my cramping I feel like these pennies will do good with a back up. I definitely will try that but with flex disks or a soft cup.
