Why didn't you mention my boy Tsukishima and my girl Shutara? Considering, not even Yhwach could tell that the Royal Palace was a fake and instead a prison that absorbs all reishi. Also, from what we know now about her Bankai, I do think you need to revisit this topic. Also Guanael Lee - The Vanishing Point, also has a pretty broken mind hax ability. And you could also argue that Antithesis has the effects of Izanagi with no drawbacks.
This was a very good video describing and telling the differences between Genjutsu and illusions in Bleach like the Kyoka Suigetsu and how they operate and what specifically they affect and how potent it is for the user against other characters especially when they become more powerful. Well done. I wonder how Kyoka Suigetsu would work on reality benders who could change anything they perceive and manifest them into reality and perceive through illusions and become disillusioned from any mental manipulations. Perceiving through reality and absorbing knowledge and knowing what is true as well. It sounds like something that would be heard from the SCP Mythos or RPC Authority.

Kyoka Suigetsu will always terrify given how utterly dangerous those illusions are and how Aizen uses them to his full strategic advantage. One moment you think you've landed a blow only for him to suddenly be several yards away as you crumble into a heap.

@eterxal- to bleach characters it isn't but to naruto characters it is because they have resistance to illusions. Characters like sasuke can literally see through them,it isn't just some disrupt your chakra flow gimmick but full blown resistance

How can you come into a conclusion that Shinigami have no illusion resistance ? Also if we are talking about just Kyoka then "seeing through" things will not be enough to break it Yhwachs Almighty was said to "see" everything in the future, "know" everything he sees and make any power he "knows" takes his side and is unable to affect him, and yet despite being able to know the true nature of things with his Almighty it was not able to see past Kyoka. Also no character in Naruto has shown spiritual resistance and Kyoka works on a spiritual level, the best you have is Naruto fighting against his soul being sucked out by Nagato but even that was more Chakra physically interacting with the soul rather then any sort of spiritual resistance. (he was physically pulling the soul back with his chakra hands)
2:09 , You made a small error. In the Naruto community, I've been hearing this argument, which most powerscalers misunderstand. The normal sharingan genjutsu operates by pouring chakra into the target by intersecting gaze to control their chakra flow, placing them under genjutsu, however they do not fall under a genjutsu immediately, according to Shusui, who described this to Itachi in the Itachi Novel. Shusui continues by saying that the side step of the mangekyou sharingan pours MORE chakra than the normal sharingan and doesn't require intersecting gaze; instead, he merely needs to look directly into the opponent's eyes to instantaneously subdue them under a genjutsu, unlike the regular sharingan. You must still control the chakra flow of the target, though.Shusui never suggested in the scan that it no longer has control over the chakra network. Genjutsu, whether it be the normal sharingan or MS, *needs* the control of the chakra because the chakra network is connected to every cell and organ in the body, including the five senses. So, you can be certain that manipulating someone's five senses in Naruto will have an impact on their chakra network guaranteed.
Great points! Yeah I was being a bit more lenient towards the Naruto side. Shisui did say he can sidestep that direct action(eye contact) and the flow of chakra ‘a bit’ so the limitations are still there. So yeah I can agree with your point although I see the opposite as another potential interpretation. I went all the way via the implication but if we’re being really strict, he only said to a small extent. And yeah you could just interpret it as seizing chakra flow regardless. Great video, I just want to mention that Yhwach confirms that Aizen can no longer use KS on him, both because Aizen is too weak to continue using it, when he starts to absorb Aizen so there is that as well for complete confirmation on resistance to KS by being stronger than him. In addition the way Aizen's dialog is worded kinda implies that he can no longer place Ichigo under KS.
The funny thing about Genjutsu is that, despite how strong and versatile it is, long as the Gotei 13 know about it, it is essentially useless against them. They'll just cover their eyes and see with reiyoku. Or they'll have Mayuri copy and modify their sensory organs and brain to be immune to illusions, then swap out with their original organs. Or Mayuri could implant some kind of device into their brain that scans for hypnotic interference and then injects them with a serum to counter it. And of course, there's Urahara and his tricks, tools, and Bankai. Barragon, meanwhile, would be outright immune because he has no brain, nerves, or eyes.

Um l believe when they say genjutsu is spiritual that's wrong because Chakra has two classification of mental and physical. That's why genjutsu targets the mind it's not spiritual power as you said it's mental energy just like when obito expressed the difference in the Uchiha who posses mental energy and the senju who possess physical energy. Well many Naruto fans like to say Chakra and spiritual energy are similar just so Genjutsu can work on bleach character ok we can do that. But it would too much of the downplay to bleach character to say that Genjutsu can automatically give them a win. Many Naruto fans forgot Genjutsu can break, there is a way to do that one is to stop flow of chakra in their body since this is bleach they also could do same. But with spiritual energy especially with a higher rank shinigami and Esparda, they are hundreds years of experience and wisdom are you telling me they can’t do something as simple as that? Way number two physical pain or self harm can break them out of illusion just many character do in Naruto series

No I don’t think it would work. KyokaSuigetsu controls the action of sight itself. So the Sharingan itself would be in his control. And we have seen him control an ocular ability with greater visual prowess than any Sharingan: the Almighty!

The only ocular genjutsu with nearly the same range as something like Shinji's bankai, is Infinite Tsukuyomi. Ocular jutsu also wouldn't work on spiritual characters in Bleach lol. They use the reikaku-a sense the Sharingan, or any genjutsu, doesn't affect.

It’s going to be difficult to get the Genjutsu chakra pass their senses. Bleach characters are very sensitive to spiritual powers like Genjutsu.
