During the pandemic I’m also working far away from home and staying alone and that made me to feel even more vulnerable and helpless. I’m the only few ones that’s still single (my entire life) lol but tbh previously I don’t really care. It’s just that for the passed one year I’m starting to feel the adulthood is real. Because of that I kinda had a pretty bad relationship experience and from there I started to learn to love myself more. Just know that you are pretty, you are enough, you are strong. ❤️

When it comes to boys and dating I can say that I've never experienced the feeling of wanting to have someone to depend on, it is more like wanting to have someone on whom you can rely and genuinely trust them knowing that they truly respect you and want only the best for you.
I feel like Ashley as much as Joan have so much integrity in their respective fields that anyone not experiencing this on their own would need to be very mature, also pretty self-confident to not try to compensate within a relationship - which blows most guys in their 20s to dust in my experience. when i was younger i thought i'd have a career and my own family at 35. now in my late 30's, i'm still wondering what am i doing with my life or if i'm doing it right. most of my friends have settled down and have 2 kids at least. lol. i think life will happen anyway? it's good to plan and have goals but at the same don't beat yourself up too much if you suddenly have to change course. it might be nice to have your own family at this age but if you're single, it also means you can treat your parents more with your earnings and spend more time with them. just try to make the best with what you're given. ❤️
I feel like it's better for people to do things in their own time. There's so much pressure as an adult to be at a certain point depending on your age. I hate it bc I'm in my early 20s and working, but it's not what my parents consider a career so they think I'm on the path to being a loser. Personally I feel like I still have time and don't need to rush

OMG, that was the most enjoyable rent to watch ever! I am so like Ashley, she resembles me in a lot of things, and Joan is sooooo much like my BF! I miss her so much after watching this. When they talked about men being scared of independent women I f.e.l.t. it! I was mostly single(only fleeting relationships) until 29 because as soon as my "independency" started showing up they would run away. I don't get it but, not sticking with those men made me find the person I am with rn, and tbh...I found my match. So, everyone, be unapologetic about your independence, your personality, whatever makes you, you. Someone will show up(if that's what you want) eventually :D

Because in my head I think it would be a hassle hahaha like they will be more high maintenance, very into themselves. Like models, like I talked to a few and 99 percent were so into themselves only one was so down to earth and he was so super hot. He was very friendly and never took out convos to flirting.

But a couple weeks later when she talked about her breakup I noticed she wasnt following him anymore. There's only one reason why you would unfollow someone who was at your birthday party.
