I gave up on Suqraat ever being available for cheap at a discounter again and just bought a replacement 4.2 of Profumo. One day, I will get a Deep Desire for cheap . . . one day.
Deep desire is discontinued I think so just get it while you can ! And you can never go wrong 'cuz it's a banger (at least for me). Yeah Gerard you should, beau de jour is a solid fougère, really clean and well blended.
Egyptian Smoke reminded me of Xerjoff More than Words, but with a tea note. I quite liked it but the tea note was there for the life of the fragrance, and I didn't like it too much.
Banana Republic 78 smells much (MUCH) more expensive than what it'sgoing for. The (Niche level quality) is beyond evident. Makes one wonder why some of these niche/ designer brands have those extravagant pricetags🤔. Im CONVINCED that its so they can seem "Exclusive". Insane and un-deserved by most brands!

Great rotation, Gerard! I gotta say, Chanel Platinum Egoiste is such a fantastic classic fragrance and it's still holding up after all these years! This is one of my all time favorite fragrance and it's a quintessential masculine men's fragrance.
@@gerardgeorge If I can make a recommendation, I would highly encourage you to get a bottle of Guerlain L'homme Ideal Platine Prive (if you don't have a bottle of the Cologne version). Yes, it smells very close to the Cologne but to me, it's little bit more refined/smoother that performs absolutely fantastic! Easily get 8-10 hours on my skin.
It was my go to during the early 2000s but last time I got it, it was lacking, not sure if they changed the formula? Longevity was gone as well, used to get compliments on it, last I tried crickets. I and using Blue mainly now but I’m on the hunt for two more to rotate. Looking at Monte Legend, maybe Creed aventus …mancera cadrat?? Don’t know??

Not a big fan of Toy Boy, but the rest are solid. I was all over the place this past week with my frags, I don't know what I was thinking. I might have been losing my grip on sanity a little bit. At one point, I had nothing else going on but I read an article that said 400 Burger Kings were closing and I decided to get a burger in solidarity. I wore Eau Sauvage Parfum to the Burger King. Do I have an explanation? I do not. Another day it was bright and sunny out, and I spotted Azzaro Visit in the back of the closet. I put on eight sprays before I knew what I was doing. Earlier today I was mad that the cat keeps trying to claw the couch like a scratching post, so I grabbed my 200ml bottle of CK One and just covered the couch with it wondering if the smell would make her stay away. It did. Then a wave of nostalgia washed over me and I since I wasn't wearing anything yet, I decided I was going to do a full wear of CK One in 2023. In the middle of the week my best friend was doing a drunk Shakespeare thing at a seedy bar called Three Clubs with an old school stage room connected to it. I think I went 15 sprays deep on the Ralph Lauren Purple Label and then I drank vodka and ate tacos. Then on Friday, my buddy was celebrating his birthday, which was coincidentally Cinco de Mayo, at a Mexican bar in West Hollywood and I busted out the Aventus because I was determined to be the best smelling guy around. After feeding my friend six shots of Mezcal and four drinks of questionable ingredients, he wouldn't stop shouting at strangers to smell me. Aventus might have been a mistake, it was too much attention. Even now I'm about to have dinner and watch TV with my girlfriend and since I just washed my fair I'm thinking about Guerlain L'omme Ideal L'intense. She wants to watch One Piece, and also she hates that fragrance and those two things don't go together anyway. I'm probably not going to do, but I could of! I don't know man, I might need to recalibrate. I'm a liability this week.
I picked up Egyptian Smoke last year… I do like… I get a smoky sandalwood with rose and dry spices/leather vibe.. I didn’t wear it much this cold season… Although with Michigan weather we could have snow next week after being in the 60s-70s this week…. But I’m pretty sure all the cold weather is gone for the season. Outside of cooler nights… Anyway, not here to discuss the seasonal weather of Michigan..lol. It is a very good fragrance and will be focusing on it more next Fall / Winter.. Great rotation.. I did wear 78 Vintage Green a few times last week actually.. Love that scent… grabbed a back up last year.. glad I did.. don’t see them around like you used to…

Love the Egyptian Smoke. From that Dunhill line, "Indian Sandalwood" is also *stunning*. Can't recommend it enough. It was a blind buy for me that I'd easily pay 2x the price for. One of the best sandalwood frags I've come across.
Loewe is a great house got a couple of nice bottles, my only regret with having Platinum Egoiste is I didn’t buy the bigger bottle, it is one of my favorites. Thanks for the plug on Egyptian Smoke
Profumo is awesome, I bought a 4.2 fl oz bottle for about $95 last December and bought a back up 6 fl oz for about $160 before it became crazy expensive.

I'm in the "hate" group for Moschino Toy Boy. It's so interesting to me what I agree and disagree with you and others on. Like BR 78 Vintage Green, I do think it's a great spring fragrance. :) It's seriously the greenest fragrance I own and I have quite a few.
I think toy boy is one of those that’s so divisive that it’s easy for two people to like many of the same fragrances and be 50/50 on that one. There are a many fragrances like that I think but what makes in unique with Toy Boy is that it’s a designer fragrance with niche sensibility.
Love the choices Gerard! ADP Profumo and Platinum Egoiste are 2 of my personal favorites! If you like Toy Boy, give Cartier Declaration Dun Soir a try (if you haven’t already) - a much more classy and sophisticated take on a masculine rose fragrance. I prefer wearing Asad to Elixir because it is really flexible compared to Elixir. Vintage Green is my second favorite BR fragrance and is a rack store gem (Grassland is my favorite, though I have to hit a couple more sprays after 3 or 4 hours).
Egoiste is gorgeous . I first smelled it on a senior lawyer I used to work with a long time ago- distinguished older gentlemen. Still smelled super good . I would totally wear that myself Nice choices 👍🏻

Always good to see you mention Toy Boy, I too think it's fantastic. The Egyptian Smoke sounds wonderful, most of that Dunhill series has received great press. My rotation last week: Sun- Lattafa Ra'ed Silver (creamy citrus and oud), Mon- Isssey Miyake L'Eau Dissey Pour Homme Intense, Tues- Davidoff Zino, Wed- Cartier L'Envol EDP, Thurs- Mancera Instant Crush, Fri- Lalique White and Sat, again, Instant Crush. Wearing Ra'ed Silver again today, absolutely love the stuff!

Nice varied Rotation Gerrard. I’ve recently purchased a Loewe which surprised me with the quality. Must pick up a decant or a 30ml of Toy Boy you pricked my interest. The Dunhill Egyptian Smoke smells right up my street however not sure when I would wear it. Need to purchase something easy on the nose from Dunhill. Can you recommend anything suitable in the line? Will you be picking up the new JPG Le Male Elxir? I hear it’s got a honey tobacco note that sounds like a bit of you.
Steve I am very intrigued by that JPG you know me well! I think an easy to like Dunhill is Century blue and it’s a cheapie! It’s a blue fragrance with iris which makes it a bit unique. I love it.

I nearly pulled the trigger on Century Blue after watching your previous rotation. It was between Century Blue and one of the Icons probably the OG. Yep I think I’ll go for Century Blue for starters. I am limiting myself to one cheapie and one more expensive fragrance a month it’s killing me. Keep up the great work and thanks for always responding. I must enjoy it while it lasts as I guess once you hit 30k plus it may prove difficult which I totally understand. Little guilty pleasure for me is Jaques Bogart One Man Show. It’s so obnoxious but addictive. I love it for lounging around it’s a proper cheapie but the performance is insane. Really enjoy your rotation videos. Take it steady.

I prefer wearing Asad to Elixir because it is really flexible compared to Elixir. Vintage Green is my second favorite BR fragrance and is a rack store gem (Grassland is my favorite, though I have to hit a couple more sprays after 3 or 4 hours).

Always good to see you mention Toy Boy, I too think it's fantastic. The Egyptian Smoke sounds wonderful, most of that Dunhill series has received great press. My rotation last week: Sun- Lattafa Ra'ed Silver (creamy citrus and oud), Mon- Isssey Miyake L'Eau Dissey Pour Homme Intense, Tues- Davidoff Zino, Wed- Cartier L'Envol EDP, Thurs- Mancera Instant Crush, Fri- Lalique White and Sat, again, Instant Crush. Wearing Ra'ed Silver again today, absolutely love the stuff!
Creamy citrus and oud sounds great in that Lattafa. I’ve wanted to try instant crush for awhile now I think I would like it.
@@gerardgeorge I had just received Instant Crush last week and had to wear it twice, it's that good. And the Ra'ed Silver is amazing. I don't know how Lattafa does it at the price.

Nice varied Rotation Gerrard. I’ve recently purchased a Loewe which surprised me with the quality. Must pick up a decant or a 30ml of Toy Boy you pricked my interest. The Dunhill Egyptian Smoke smells right up my street however not sure when I would wear it. Need to purchase something easy on the nose from Dunhill. Can you recommend anything suitable in the line?

Steve I am very intrigued by that JPG you know me well! I think an easy to like Dunhill is Century blue and it’s a cheapie! It’s a blue fragrance with iris which makes it a bit unique. I love it.

I nearly pulled the trigger on Century Blue after watching your previous rotation. It was between Century Blue and one of the Icons probably the OG. Yep I think I’ll go for Century Blue for starters. I am limiting myself to one cheapie and one more expensive fragrance a month it’s killing me. Keep up the great work and thanks for always responding. I must enjoy it while it lasts as I guess once you hit 30k plus it may prove difficult which I totally understand. Little guilty pleasure for me is Jaques Bogart One Man Show. It’s so obnoxious but addictive. I love it for lounging around it’s a proper cheapie but the performance is insane. Really enjoy your rotation videos. Take it steady.

Paris Hilton is great! There’s fresh air quality to it that makes it super unique imo
