Honestly, when I first saw Eureka 7, I had no idea Johnny was the voice of Renton. Really, from all the characters he played, Renton doesn't seem close to sounding like them at all. I have to admit that this guy has an amazing talent. :) You rule Bosch!

Yep, but I heard that he said it was pretty hard to do for him at first. He said that he had do the 1st 13 episodes in only a few days when he replaced Yuri Lowenthal, which didn't give him much time to sink in with his voice. He didn't like it, and said he wishes that he could redo it.

Huh, didn't know Tony Oliver was involved with this show. It's not the first time that the two of them have worked together. As most of you probably know, JYB got his start on Power Rangers. Oliver was a producer on that show, and he was the voice of Saba.

Well then again, I gotta hand it to them for picking Bosch, he didn't seem like the guy who fit in in power rangers despite what others say and in eureka 7 he's voicing a character he could relate to.
I didn't really understand the "clicky" part... it didn't really sound abnormal and the second version didn't sound much different. But oh well. The rest was nice. :)
Wow, a lot of people say Japanese VA's are way better than English VA's. Dude, that's just stupid when they say that. I bet more than half of them don't even understand Japanese let alone read it. You only read the subs which is funny when you look at it. The Voice sounds good which you could say but you would be use to the Japanese one that when you hear it, it sounds different. That's how it is. But these Voices for Eureka 7 to me were awesome. JYB FTW! Man, stop complaining about VA's. T_T"

If I went on where everyone likes subs and commented that dub was better I would be thrashed with insults and get so many thumbs down. Like this show for instance they already had a voice actor prepared for this show and Johnny said that he sounded better but the japanese look over it and said that they wanted Johnny Yong Bosch to do Renton's voice.
