Hummm.
What's the significance of this? Is it like a competition? Does everyone get a turn? Are they professional dancers? What ever's going on, they're having a ball.
It's like a showroom for dancers and musicians. Everyone has it's Turn. There's a circle manager, responsible for picking the dancers requests to join the circle, and giving a scarf to the next dancer that is going to preform. There are professional and amateur dancers involved. In the end of each dancer's performance, all are invited to join the circle and dance together, boosting the energy up (enchaucfment). This circles are called "dununbas" in the city, regarding the type of dance and rythms played.
Osscar Charlee Papah the spraying money bit? It’s done in some african cultures to show appreciation. At weddings the money is intended for the newly married couple to start life (comes in handy because african weddings are so expensive lol)
Economy, Economy, Economy? Why do you talk of economy? This is music, art and community so why do you talk of economy? what has GDP got to do with this? as for wasting money do you know how many people in the top economies waste their money and lives on needless possessions and beliefs? They never achieve a fraction of this community, often alone in theirs houses wasting their time talking about economies when people have a beautiful time.
This is not wasting money, people give money when they appreciate music or dance or any type of art,how come you see it a waste when it was given to the drumming group, after all they are entertaining many people.

ok, so what does it mean when other persons join the one dancing almost at the end of their dance?
You can't end it alone some people must accompany you at end and if you finish it alone it means they don't I admire your dance so it a shame
Cool...
Put an effort to learn the culture and you would definitely understand more.

This is “Sabar” dance, not “Dunumvba”.
No Sabar dance is from Senegal. The daces and the drums are different

You want to lose weight this is the dance to perform and make sure you have same beats and dance to the same rhythms.

the economy is the only disease in this world.
