My first beat was some synthwave thing that used loops. That is the only reason it sounded like music guaranteed 😭🙏

100% first thing I made was all samples and loops. Was in ableton at that time (easier to Crack and I was 12 so no way I'm paying for a daw at that time), had no idea how to lock/link clips to bpm, everything off grid, off key, it was awful but sounded ok.
Cymatics was the goat back then for me, (and still is for some of the perc/drum samples etc. Still use a few Foley packs, and world perc packs from them.

I was the type of guy that couldn't use samples even if they were free when I first started so each loop the first year of me producing in Fruity Loops was full of original melodies and compositions
