According to digimon story Cyber Sleuth gankoomon is friend's with bancholeomon. In the game he made it hackmon's goal to fight and beat bancholeomon in order for him to evolve to jesmon.
In BlueMeramon's first appearance in Digimon World 1, he could be found in the Ice Sanctuary, which is located in the area of the game known as Freezeland, which is home to ice Digimon exclusively; however, it's interesting to note that BlueMeramon cannot be found anywhere but the aforementioned sanctuary. BlueMeramon in this game is able to use both fire and ice based attacks, which was kept for later games, such as Digital Card Battle (which I noticed a number of clips showing Digimon attacks where taken from); I always personally interpreted BlueMeramon's inspiration as being a reference to being so cold, it burns (which can actually occur if it is cold enough, but it just feels like it's burning). As for why I think that BlueMeramon can only be found within the Ice Sanctuary and not in Freezeland itself is because certain Digimon in the game are susceptible to the cold, specifically insect and fire based Digimon, and will become sick if you bring them with you to this area, and Meramon just so happens to be one such Digimon; this would likely mean that the environment would be too inhospitable for him to survive in normally, and so takes refuge in the sanctuary instead.
Funny thing, SkullMeramon's Japanese name is Death Meramon, referencing Death Metal. This explains the overly edgy appearance and its ability to spit out molten metal. Also I believe that Death Meramon is more powerful than Blue Meramon, because couple of times Death Meramon has been listed as a next evolution for Blue Meramon. I know both are ultimate, but if a mega can evolve into a mega, why not ultimate to ultimate?
I think they should have called him Metal Meramon if they needed to change the name. Would be more accurate and would keep with the theme of the original name.
About that Ultimate to Ultimate, I think you'll like Candlemon > Bakemon > Soulmon > Phantomon > Metal Phantomon > Reapermon both Phantomon & Metal Phantomon are Ultimates. I have no idea why Bakemon is Champion when most Rookies can beat it easily because of how weak & dopey it is.

unless you are talking about someone else, blue meramon is ice meramon. it was originally just a re-color of meramon for game design purposes, but digital card battle turned it into an ice type to pad out the card list without having to create an additional model for a new digimon. ice leomon and ice devimon were also created that way.

Interesting stuff. When I was a kid playing Digimon World for the first time I initially managed to digivolve my first partner into Meramon and it remained one of my favourite Digimon since then. I was never really a fan of its mega evolutions though, particularly Boltmon. SkullMeramon has a very cool design though and I admit I never realized the visual connection to Skullmeramon. I've always loved Digimon's darker aspects of its lore and how these monsters can often go down dark and tragic paths.

Oh that's interesting. The meramon line reminds me of Magmar and Litwick and their lines. Nostalgia can you do a comparison video on them and how they would interact with the digital world? As for that dragon, there is an interesting case of conflict and potential relation with Moltres the titan of fire.
blue meramon is an off-colour meramon, that was created out of game design convenience. haven't played digimon world, but based on what i read digimon you'd recruit would be replaced by their re-colours to seperate them from your recruits. being just meramon turned blue also meant blue meramon was just a champion level in that game. lots of early day re-colour digimon can be explained this way: psychemon, modokibetamon, gururumon etc. some time later the digital card battle game conveniently re-used those off-colour models to pad out their card list by making those cards a different elemental type, which resulted in blue meramon becoming ice-type.

Also I am posting this here because you forgot to make the Biyomon picture commentable, but the ring is probably a weight training device to help Biyomon develop its flying muscles. That or it is a reference to how birds are ringed for inspection and research.
I never considered Candlemon part of the Meramon Line with DemiMeramon more of a Rookie for it. I kind of headcanon there being both Intraining & Rookie versions of DemiMeramon with size & power being the main differences between them. DemiMeramon (Intraining) is small enough to become Candlemon's flame, while DemiMeramon (Rookie) is what we see in Savers/Datasquad.

Meramon X seems to share the same ability as Apollomon! They can both melt anything. I can't think of a better comparison for Meramon X than the Digimon god of fire

(Necromancy) Also cus I'm a big fan of the Digital Monster X-Evolution movie and was hoping Mummymon got an X-form like it's partner Wizardmon did years later.

I just thought of a new request for a Digimon that I think would work with your religious type series for Digimon as well. I forget the rest of the line since I haven't played Digimon Masters Online in years but the rookie Digimon is called Dobermon. I love canine Digimon more than anything because dogs are my favorite pet. The ultimate for this Digimon from that game looks like Anubis and I think is either Anubismon or Pharaohmon. Could you do a video on that? I love the look of it's champion level Cerberusmon. I still am curious about the twin Digimon of Terriermom and Lopmon but Doberman I have a sudden interest on because I remember it very fondly for some reason.
its basically dobermon -> cerberusmon -> anubismon. cerberusmon also has a werewolf mode which can then be plutomon. aoi's labramon has been shown as a dobermon, so it looks like labramon is now confirmed as the rookie for this line - though we gotta wait for survive's release for official confirmation. (dobermon is a champion, and labramon has an unusued masters model, so it was prob supposed to be his rookie in that game. they just did him without a rookie weirdly)
I think bearmon has an interesting line, b/c after bearmon digivolves into grizzlymon, no one knows which ultimate form it'll digivolve into. In my opinion, the top 4 ultimate forms that, in my opnion at least, grizzlymon can digivolve into, include grapleomon, mainly b/c both it and grizzlymon I think each belong to the nature spirits family, and also pandamon, monzaemon, and warumonzaemon, b/c those 3 follow the bear theme that both bearmon and grizzlymon follow. Now as for mega forms, the only known mega form for bearmon, is callismon. But to reach callismon, a grizzlymon has to absorb arkadiamon; making the digivolution of grizzlymon to callismon, some sort of absorption digivolution. But if grizzlymon did not absorb arkadiamon, and had a mega form that it could reach naturally, the mega forms, again in my opinion at least, that grizzlymon can reach after it digivolves into one of the 4 ultimate forms I mentioned before, are merukimon, marsmon, vikemon, baihumon, saberleomon, and dinotigermon.

@@TheSidorak12 both have fire powers and both turn on their organizations for the greater good. Gankoomon is one of the few along with JESmon and Alphamon that would turn on the royal knights rather than follow Yggdrasil blindly.
Actually, the hottest color of fire is white because magnesium fire is white. So I think it would be awesome if there was a Digimon that used weapons made of some sort of magnesium-digizoid alloy(if that’s even possible) and then could set them on fire. Also, I find it extremely disappointing that neither of meramon’s mega forms use fire.
Hey I believe I do have an idea why blue mareamon is by technicality an ice digimon that utalizes fire. The phrase “so hot it freezes” comes to mind...a sensation because the fire is just that hot blue meramon might reach that type of tempaturr

It isn't our world and functions under completely different rules. It's in the name, their world is a digital one and acts according to that fact. Meramon can't exist in our world due to having to suddenly follow the law of conservation of energy and would die immediately.

i can not help but feel like you have never done a video on the ancestor to all dragon based digimon. yes you mentioned dramon many times already but i do not think we ever got a proper video on it. how can a digimon thats mentioned so much not get a video of its own?
Meramon and bluemeramon made me wonder what it means to be a champion or ultimate digimon, both digimon are basically the same only differentiating the strength of their flames, this made me think that a meramon whas becomes too powerful would change the color of its flames, thinking like that he would still be a digimon champion or would be considered an ultimate because he is much more powerful than a normal champion. Perhaps this is why the bluemeramon has no digevolution because in essence it is still a meramon and perhaps this also applies to leomon and bancholeomon.

I just thought of a new request for a Digimon that I think would work with your religious type series for Digimon as well. I forget the rest of the line since I haven't played Digimon Masters Online in years but the rookie Digimon is called Dobermon. I love canine Digimon more than anything because dogs are my favorite pet. The ultimate for this Digimon from that game looks like Anubis and I think is either Anubismon or Pharaohmon. Could you do a video on that? I love the look of it's champion level Cerberusmon. I still am curious about the twin Digimon of Terriermom and Lopmon but Doberman I have a sudden interest on because I remember it very fondly for some reason.
its basically dobermon -> cerberusmon -> anubismon. cerberusmon also has a werewolf mode which can then be plutomon.
aoi's labramon has been shown as a dobermon, so it looks like labramon is now confirmed as the rookie for this line - though we gotta wait for survive's release for official confirmation. (dobermon is a champion, and labramon has an unusued masters model, so it was prob supposed to be his rookie in that game. they just did him without a rookie weirdly)

I think bearmon has an interesting line, b/c after bearmon digivolves into grizzlymon, no one knows which ultimate form it'll digivolve into.
In my opinion, the top 4 ultimate forms that, in my opnion at least, grizzlymon can digivolve into, include grapleomon, mainly b/c both it and grizzlymon I think each belong to the nature spirits family, and also pandamon, monzaemon, and warumonzaemon, b/c those 3 follow the bear theme that both bearmon and grizzlymon follow.
Now as for mega forms, the only known mega form for bearmon, is callismon. But to reach callismon, a grizzlymon has to absorb arkadiamon; making the digivolution of grizzlymon to callismon, some sort of absorption digivolution.
But if grizzlymon did not absorb arkadiamon, and had a mega form that it could reach naturally, the mega forms, again in my opinion at least, that grizzlymon can reach after it digivolves into one of the 4 ultimate forms I mentioned before, are merukimon, marsmon, vikemon, baihumon, saberleomon, and dinotigermon.

@@TheSidorak12 both have fire powers and both turn on their organizations for the greater good. Gankoomon is one of the few along with JESmon and Alphamon that would turn on the royal knights rather than follow Yggdrasil blindly.

Actually, the hottest color of fire is white because magnesium fire is white. So I think it would be awesome if there was a Digimon that used weapons made of some sort of magnesium-digizoid alloy(if that’s even possible) and then could set them on fire. Also, I find it extremely disappointing that neither of meramon’s mega forms use fire.
I would assume skullmerimon's fire and metal attack is probably more like thermite than napalm

Hey I believe I do have an idea why blue mareamon is by technicality an ice digimon that utalizes fire. The phrase “so hot it freezes” comes to mind...a sensation because the fire is just that hot blue meramon might reach that type of tempaturr
It could also literally be drawing heat from the surrounding area thus making everything freeze.
Andres Marrero thats the idea but I think blue meramon can keep it in a confined area. Like if this was in Pokémon, how rapidash has its fire as just a tail and main that doesn’t hurt anyone it trusts
@@shayukitsune8879 it is also important to note that Bluemeramon exists in the digital world and thus is not beholden to the law of conversation of energy as everything is data there. Meramon, blue or otherwise, would have a very brief existence in our world as they would fizzle out.

It isn't our world and functions under completely different rules. It's in the name, their world is a digital one and acts according to that fact. Meramon can't exist in our world due to having to suddenly follow the law of conservation of energy and would die immediately.

he usually ignores babies. he prob just including demimeramon cuz it has meramon in the name.
Meramon and bluemeramon made me wonder what it means to be a champion or ultimate digimon, both digimon are basically the same only differentiating the strength of their flames, this made me think that a meramon whas becomes too powerful would change the color of its flames, thinking like that he would still be a digimon champion or would be considered an ultimate because he is much more powerful than a normal champion. Perhaps this is why the bluemeramon has no digevolution because in essence it is still a meramon and perhaps this also applies to leomon and bancholeomon.
I mean if meramon turns blue, hes bluemeramon now lol
