good video...my power window switch wont roll the window up but it will roll down its probably just the switch right? any videos on changing just that?
I have a 1979 El Camino and I need to replace both side mirrors. The mirror housing is hidden behind the door panel. My door panel is different from the one in this video but I'm assuming the process is the same for removing the panel.
@@MechanicLife Any reason why my door panel is having trouble coming off after all screws are taken out? Btw, it's the first time the door panel will have been taken off.
Where does it seam like its hanging up at? Once all the screws are out and the unlock/lock plastic cap is unscrewed it should lift straight up and out.
@@MechanicLife It seems like its hanging up in the middle. It's been a couple weeks since I tried taking it off. When I get a chance tomorrow I'll try again just to confirm.

Those are easy. Search gbody door panel removal.
Do you have to remove the arm handles to get the door off? One of my screws are almost stripped.
Nope my handles stayed in place.

With mine I did have to take the 2 screws from the handle
