Just said the same thing! Super low- God forbid you run over something on the highway and it wedges up in there or worse causes major damage or a driving hazard.
Let's assume that owners never encounter junk on the highway, highly rutted dirt roads, etc. That said, batteries do die and do require replacement. The owner isn't going to be able to service their own batteries. They are going to have to take it someplace that has a lift to get in there, drop that box and service batteries that way. Very poor design. If that is the only place they could put the house batteries, they should have taken more time to determine what carve out they could do in the coach to store those batteries.
SOLD, I'll take it!!! Wait, what???? Lithium batteries where? Why???? Seriously, any speed bump you just lost $1000's in batteries and more $$$ damage to the vehicle. WTF were the designers thinking??????
As an insurance adjuster, I like it as a mobile office to go to catastrophe areas. Especially since lodging is difficult. Also the fact that it is compact allows you to reach your client’s properties. I also have a concern about how low the batteries underneath, speed bumps may be a concern. I can just imagine being able to park in front of the property that you are going to visit the night before and being able to inspect it the following morning on day break. I’m just saying. Thanks Matt & Angela. 👍🏻😎
Yeah, the fact that it even comes with the telescoping ladder really helps with the claims things... Too bad the batteries are in such a horrible spot. Even if ya don't burst them, the battery bay will snag things.
I think this is a really smart layout for a single traveler who works on the road or even two folks who don't intend to sleep in the coach (except in a pinch) but still have the daily convenience of fully equipped house on wheels for travel days or sightseeing.
#vanlife Likes .... 1 - Sliding bug screen door (don't like the roll up screen with magnets.). 2 - Doggie water and feeding tray drawer 3 - All battery power system Dislikes .... 1 - The wardrobe closet in the rear bathroom 2 - Fold up bathroom sink 3 - The puzzle of seat cushions for making up the bed.
Love your honest videos. They are the most informative on TH-cam. Thank you! One thing I don't see mentioned is the microwave being below the counter. Bending down to see and select the settings, especially on a convection oven, would be a chore every time.
Like the size and floor plan. Like the color. Great for a solo traveler. Dislike the super low battery box. It’s almost on the ground 😒 The bed is odd. I would have to do something with the cushions. Dislike the no daytime shades too Andrea.
Wow! This is the first Class B that is very well suited to the single traveler. No 3rd and 4th seats or that kind of thing. I love the large refrigerator, and the bathroom looks just as large as those in much larger vans. My one problem with this is the batteries hanging off the belly. I hope it is more but the battery clearance (to the ground) looks to be about four inches. Based on my driving, that is a disaster waiting to happen. I'm surprised that issue isn't one of Matt and Andrea's dislikes. Other than this one issue, PERFECTO!
I came across one of these this weekend, only it was the 20L with the Reliable battery system (I think). The sales guy I encountered said I wouldn't want one instead of a Class C, but I fell in love with these. He was completely wrong and I loved the solar and lithium system. I'm now trying to figure out which floor plan I want and how to get one. lol
This RV is cute, but I agree about the bed catastrophe. What a mess. It could do without propane for New York dwellers. But the stealth like quality is a great safety factor. I like the fact that the ladder hangs inside. It was a better review than you give yourselves credit. Good job!!!
I would seriously consider getting a 2 inch lift kit just to make more clearance for the lithium batteries. That's way too low. Driving through several inches of water could cost you thousands of dollars in lithium battery replacement.
I love it. Love the electric refrigerator and it's size, tons of storage and the convection microwave!!!!! I too hate the couch. There are a ton of ways to make it better. I don't like the shades at all. The windows could open bigger.
I like this van and at just over twenty feet it isn’t that small. Perfect for one or two if they really love each other. Love the review as usual. Cheers!!!
Not too bad. Cute. Bed sucks. As u said should have been all one piece to open out easily. More windows should open up as I only see one open. Thanks guys
I love the floor plan too. It feels homey. I could have company over for dinner. 😊 However, my biggest concern is also ground clearance as another person said. Those batteries are dead as soon as you drive it off the lot. You could only camp in suburbia where there's no construction or tree roots or rocks/gravel. Somebody made a comment about speed bumps....... Eek! I really like the leisure vans because the quality/safety seems there but they're too expensive. I like Winnebago vans because the quality seems good too and the price is more reasonable. I saw a video about the electric system on one (Coachman) van and it was a fire hazard. That scared me. If Winnebago had this floor plan, I would most likely buy it if it were used just so I could get a lower price. I am tempted by this van though. Two improvements I would want to make is getting a more comfortable sofa (twin size bed) in order to catch a nap when traveling AND awning windows. Air ventilation is poor especially if it's raining. I would be traveling in it back and forth from northeast to the south to visit family and friends. The drive is long and arduous but this would make it easier and enjoyable and I would put no one out at either destination as I am bringing my home with me. But I really can't see going to a camp ground though. I like camping but gave up sleeping on the ground thus the van rv. I also have to pee at the most inconvenient times, like 3 am. I want easy access in the middle of the night. No scooching or climbing over the bed to get to the toilet, which if not pulling it out is comfy enough then another plus for me. I wonder if the 2 cab seats facing each other might make another bed with an air mattress. My sister can come with me. She's short. I keep coming back to the ground clearance b/c lack of thought makes me feel it might be unsafe. Poor design.... As a woman traveling alone, safety is a big thing. I like the idea of never leaving the van to go outside. If something is happening outside in the middle of the night, I just jump in the driver's seat and get out of there. I like stealthy so I can be inconspicuous.
My only dislike is the Dodge chassis. Maybe the layout benefits from that chassis due to length, and I'm sure that there's a price benefit too. However I'd prefer the AWD Ford chassis for any and every Class B. For my likes, I agree with Matt about this being great for a single (like me!). This is my favorite Class B floor plan by far. I'd leave the bed as a single, and then there's lots of storage, a big fridge, and good space for a wet bath. For Andrea: I like the table behind the passenger seat because I could leave the single bed made up all the time, and sit in the passenger seat to use that table for the laptop or eating.
Thanks Matt and Andrea for another great RV review! And under duress 👍 I agree with Andrea about the table blocking the door. Also needs day time shades. Love the euro style cabinetry and the refrigerator size!
Even school busses and snowplows install a 3' tall fiberglass rod at both ends of the front bumper so you know where it is. RV makers must really really want to let dealers overcharge to add those. Or sell new bumpers and grills.
The things I like about the band the light colors the design of the drawers and cabbed it there's a lot of drawers and that's good The bathroom seems nice.
This is why I watch you guys as I prepare to get ready to buy my RV next year. You go the extra mile to inform us about RV's. Whoa....c'mon Matt, what kind of skip was that? WHAT THA???? Andrea called it..."PPP"... Give it to her Matt........... I actually like this B because it has sewer hose. I dislike the bed.
3 things we like, Color (definitely opens up the space), Bathroom Sink, Refrigerator/Counter Tops (did not look like an Absorption Fridge). 3 things we dislike, Distance from the Battery Enclosure to the Road, BED and will go with Andrea on the computer table taking up room in the doorway (I would tear that out as well as the TV). Great Video, we are definitely are "B" people but lean more to the PleasureWay Product....... ;-)
very good one, like the floor plan, agree daytime shades would be nice, that desk thing by door... eh.. not sure i like it, but i would use it if it was there for sure, that couch does suck, why not just put in a jackknife same size, or maybe small trifold instead, that depends on what is under it, may not work, but it is does make a big enough bed regardless when done just pain in the ass. only real complaint is how low those batteries hang, just a speed bump could take all of them out at once, not good, let alone trying to go to slightly off road camping spot... absolute worst place for them, cant even go down a dirt road safely without fear of them getting smacked by even a smaller rock, being the lowest point by far, in the place most likely to bottom out...no no good. if something must go there put the black or grey tank there, far cheaper to replace, and i would care far less if lost the use of it for awhile. for the price point of trying to not be expensive as hell, can live with the couch, no day time shades, and the rest... but not those low hanging batteries, that is a deal breaker unfortunately, love it otherwise, but that is unacceptable, be like driving a low rider, damage just waiting to happen. if not for that one thing.... the rest would be fine if not well above average. great fridge, kitchen, bathroom, convection oven, power package, layout in general
I would have similar issues as Matt... I am twice his size at least... 5'-10" 360# there is no way I could feel comfortable in a B sized motor home. Thank you for the review! 😁
Everytime I hear Matt say something about not being able to see the front end of the van, I always think back to when I had a Dodge van. It was funny that my daughter's use to always ask, how do you know where the front of the van ends. (They always thought I was to going hit something.) I always told them "I have an idea". They did not like my answer. As each of them started to drive I asked them so, how do you know where the front ends? Each time they both said, I have an idea😂😂😂😂 They said they now understood what I meant.
I LOVE the fridge, the big bathroom, and the worktable behind the passenger seat. I wish the TV were not there. It's blocking the counter and I could more easily watch my laptop.

Hi Matt and Andrea! My likes are the sane yours. My dislikes are no day time shades and the bed looks like it would be hard to make. That’s it this’d my dislikes. I love the floor plan. Yet another delightful review (you two are SO GOOD at this!). Matt with the stinky slinky - hilarious!
You're both wonderful, I can't imagine doing that many tours in one day! For how short that is, the storage is amazing. The bed could use work, maybe a jackknife or something would be better. I also worry about the clearance of those batteries, they are pretty low. I would be worried about scraping. If I were buying a new class B, the storage alone on this would put it in the running!
I think the Rize 18m is a better rv and 40k cheaper. Can add all the solar you want for the price difference, plus having the generator is nice when the sun is not out.
Nice review. Hate the bed. Bath/hanging closet isn’t too small. Putting interior features in the side door has become common for short and long vans. As long as you have room to get in and out I’m fine with it. I really like that the fridge is up at eye level. My old knees don’t want to have to stoop to rummage through the fridge. I also never need anything frozen. They could eliminate that space in a cooler and regain the five inches it takes up for milk or wine bottles.
A CORVETTE SITS OFF THE GROUND HIGHER THAN THAT. LOL JUST SAYIN WELL, IF THAT WAS BATTERIES COMPARTMENT GET READY TO FORK OUT FOR SOME BATTERIES ON A REGULAR BASIS. LOL
I have 3 like and 3 disk like Like first 1 love the floor plan 2 convection microwave 3 the size of the refrigerator Disk like 1 I think we all know without Matt getting down on the ground and getting all dirty no one would know how low that power bank is to the ground one bad pothole and there goes thousands and thousands of dollars and the lithium battery 2 The bed I don't think I want to play jinger everyday to get in bed 3 the two drop down drawers for the entertainment center I guess you would call it or where the hook up where I think at that that point I would not want a drop down panel or door I'll just want to be left open If anyone actually read this give a big round to matt for getting down there and looking and making sure that was a battery bank or a generator because that road clearance is ridiculous I mean if you're going in that "van life" just one bad speed bump that it would totally ruin that seriously that by far is just a setup for disaster in fact I would like it if Matt would go back and measure the ride clearance from the battery Bank to the ground and then go and find a speed bump to compare it to it'd be the ultimate review but seriously that is horrible nobody would know about that unless they actually looked underneath there the time when you're looking at any kind of RV or van life if it ain't storage you ain't looking underneath it I would like it if not start including ride clearance height in his videos I live in Arkansas and we have potholes all over but say you go to other states it's like they never heard a pothole they have just little dip and divots
😨🤯 WOW!!! 🤯😨 I don't like that battery pack location. it's way to low to the ground and will probably hit just about everything in its path. Not to mention that the Van's going to high center on everything from a tall bug to manhole covers and snow & ice...
Wow, that underneath battery compartment or whatever it is looks like it's about 3 inches off the ground.
I was saying the same thing. Not good
Just said the same thing! Super low- God forbid you run over something on the highway and it wedges up in there or worse causes major damage or a driving hazard.
Deal breaker for me.
No kidding. Hit something, short out the batteries, and then start a fire. That's all we need with these ongoing droughts.
Agree about the batteries. Looks like only 3-4 inches road clearance. OOPS! on an otherwise nice van and a deal-killer for me.
You just gave me a great idea. 👍
Yeah, the fact that it even comes with the telescoping ladder really helps with the claims things... Too bad the batteries are in such a horrible spot. Even if ya don't burst them, the battery bay will snag things.
Had the same thought about the batteries.
Who's Angela?
Andrea really is Matt’s greatest asset ! She’s right on with the daytime shades.
I think this is a really smart layout for a single traveler who works on the road or even two folks who don't intend to sleep in the coach (except in a pinch) but still have the daily convenience of fully equipped house on wheels for travel days or sightseeing.
Those batteries are REALLY CLOSE TO THE GROUND. Great little Class B for one person.
Good he looked under it.🤭

Smelling the sewer hose to see if it's really a new unit, lmao.
Terrible placement on the batteries. That’ll be a very costly repair when they get torn up.

Isn't this the exact same as the sequence? I'm picking up the sequence with lithium on Thursday
I do not like those low batteries.
I totally appreciate Matt demonstrating that sleeping in this van would be a total pain in the ass🤣🤣🤣
This is a winner for van life, however I do agree with you on the bed situation.
Even school busses and snowplows install a 3' tall fiberglass rod at both ends of the front bumper so you know where it is. RV makers must really really want to let dealers overcharge to add those. Or sell new bumpers and grills.
What were they thinking putting that battery box so low? I like to see a test drive over a speed bump.

GREAT REVIEW YOU TWO!

I believe the Tv swivels and you can watch it when sitting outside under awning+
@@maureenburke8618 only reason we would remove TV is we strictly use our Laptops, TV would be taking up space and weight.

I would have similar issues as Matt... I am twice his size at least... 5'-10" 360# there is no way I could feel comfortable in a B sized motor home. Thank you for the review! 😁
The RV is good but the salesman is the best
I liked the frig!! Disliked you didn’t show solar on roof and give solar specs.

Pass. Hate that bed
I LOVE the fridge, the big bathroom, and the worktable behind the passenger seat.
I wish the TV were not there. It's blocking the counter and I could more easily watch my laptop.
Great review Matt and Andrea! #VanLife.
Totally agree on the added on battery box. Thor rushed this due to no generators. If Steve ever puts the hammer down on a rough road or high center area aka speed bump boom.
Beyond careless and just to make a buck.
Ok Matt was there a screen that comes down in the bathroom?
I'm surprised Thor would continue putting that bed in any RV after your earlier review. I'll bet all those cushions would wind up in the dumpster at the first campground the new owner tries to stay in. I don't know where the batteries might go - and if a buyer opted for a generator it would be even closer to the ground.
However, those drawbacks are too bad because this could be a very useful tool for a lot of people - contractors, sales people, and consultants come to mind. It's a pleasant enough little place.
. Maybe I would put them batteries in under the couch ?
Hi Matt and Andrea! My likes are the sane yours. My dislikes are no day time shades and the bed looks like it would be hard to make. That’s it this’d my dislikes. I love the floor plan. It’s really a great floor plan. Thank you Matt and Andrea! Love you guys! And hope you enjoyed Christmas with family.
This is my favorite video so far...
Matt, love your content. We are starting to zero in on an Entegra 29v, either model. Could you do a review of each model for 22? Thanks!
Yes thank you! In 20 minutes a Odyssey 31F video will be live! I know it’s not the right floorplan but you’ll see a lot of the similar features for 2022!
Make sure you email me when your ready to buy!
I would definitely want one of these if I were going solo! It's beautiful, creatively designed and has a reasonably sized bathroom, given the space. The only thing that makes me a little nervous is how low those batteries hang underneath. Are they at least in a protective cover? I couldn't tell.

Very funny video. Bathroom is nice although weird that you have to stand in the shower to use the microwave. The door should swing the other way.
I love this, but wow, the batteries hang much too low.
Wow, as low as that battery box hangs down. 1 speed bump, and say good bye. 😲
Someone on the Tellaro/Sequence FB group moved the lithium batteries to inside under the bed. Wish Thor would just put them there to begin with.
"I'll wash your mouth out with soap!" Funny, Matt! Made me chuckle! (but please don't use Lifebuoy because you don't want to blind Andrea...)
This generator is lower Than my Toyota Prius...one bonk.. and it's gone!
it's apparently not even a generator, but instead batteries, which makes it a *lot* worse
LIKE: that there are many, many drawers. DISLIKE: Bed, would like a foldout like toy haulers have
Love your videos, guys. Keep up the good job and humor 😂.
Yea Two Potables ! TY
I love your energy!
And for No.3, putting what could be a simple stowaway desk into a monolith in the doorway??
Yeah, just a small folding table would work so much better
Matt can you drive this with the passanger seat turned? Thinking of me travling single 1st?
Cute set up, but the battery location would make me a nervous wreck.
In the rear door, there were the 4Ps - Plastic Poop Paper Protector.
I think the Rize 18m is a better rv and 40k cheaper. Can add all the solar you want for the price difference, plus having the generator is nice when the sun is not out.
Not anymore. New pricing is $110k
Andrea- fabulous dress!!! 💚💚💚
Nice! Thank You.
Good job you two. Don't like the shades over the kitchen sink, and don't like the cushions on the sofa. Do like the layout though. Needs generator!!
A CORVETTE SITS OFF THE GROUND HIGHER THAN THAT. LOL JUST SAYIN WELL, IF THAT WAS BATTERIES COMPARTMENT GET READY TO FORK OUT FOR SOME BATTERIES ON A REGULAR BASIS. LOL
Pricey lithium batteries, mounted so low that one high manhole cover could rip them out. WTF WERE THEY THINKING?
Whatever the thought process was, it was clearly of the *after* variety
It’s a Thor. Thinking is not in their wheelhouse.
Another great Review! Something tells me Matt could have come up with 100 dislikes. Glamorous dress Andrea!
. Whatever that was under van, looked like maybe only 2inch. off the ground or was it ya camera angles ? O well & Good video like always. Ha.Ha.Ha
Ouch! Your poor skull! Workers comp!😂😂😂❤
I don't like the table in the doorway. Can it be removed?
Needs some 33” tires to help with the low battery clearance.
Matt was burned out on this tour. He was honest about it. But professionally, he might have been better served to keep that to himself...
Yes, especially as a service to this RV dealer. I'm sure he gets compensation for this.
@@danoc51 Absolutely. He's terrific and funny as hell though. He's cute..
The bed should be a jack-knife... has ft potential, possibly.
Decent bathroom and cabinets and fridge/freezer for a van. But gotta agree those cushions for the bed are a big ole mess.
I think with practice the bed would not be a big deal.
Loved the van and the review! You guys should have margaritas before all videos!
for a bulk buyer what's the cost plastic vs porcelain
probably a decision based on weight not cost.
Are you still going to have the show in Tampa because of the covid outbreak
Not to many class C being reviewed either
Awesome!/
I have 3 like and 3 disk like
Like first
1 love the floor plan
2 convection microwave
3 the size of the refrigerator
Disk like
1 I think we all know without Matt getting down on the ground and getting all dirty no one would know how low that power bank is to the ground one bad pothole and there goes thousands and thousands of dollars and the lithium battery
2 The bed I don't think I want to play jinger everyday to get in bed
3 the two drop down drawers for the entertainment center I guess you would call it or where the hook up where I think at that that point I would not want a drop down panel or door I'll just want to be left open
If anyone actually read this give a big round to matt for getting down there and looking and making sure that was a battery bank or a generator because that road clearance is ridiculous I mean if you're going in that "van life" just one bad speed bump that it would totally ruin that seriously that by far is just a setup for disaster in fact I would like it if Matt would go back and measure the ride clearance from the battery Bank to the ground and then go and find a speed bump to compare it to it'd be the ultimate review but seriously that is horrible nobody would know about that unless they actually looked underneath there the time when you're looking at any kind of RV or van life if it ain't storage you ain't looking underneath it I would like it if not start including ride clearance height in his videos I live in Arkansas and we have potholes all over but say you go to other states it's like they never heard a pothole they have just little dip and divots
Very low clearance underneath with the battery setup down there! Other than that, very nice van for #vanlife.
‘These are rocks!” Thanks, Captain obvious! Lol!
Like it too much for this.
😨🤯 WOW!!! 🤯😨
I don't like that battery pack location. it's way to low to the ground and will probably hit just about everything in its path. Not to mention that the Van's going to high center on everything from a tall bug to manhole covers and snow & ice...
You failed to mention seat belts in the couch (shown in the floor plan) for 2 extra daytime passengers.
My prius is the same, cant see its corners at all. Its nerve racking not knowing how close you are. 😮😢😅😊
