Alot of the dishes in Nigeria was brought to Nigeria by Ghanaians b4 the must go thing, like pounded yam, the bole, agushi etc and u can even hear the sound of twi language in it name
It’s yam not dumpling - is flour and also the yam is used to scoop the sauce not dipping. But great he is embracing Ghanaian food because we embrace other’s too so long live both countries.
Well the name of this fruit actually depends on the part of Ghana you're coming from and also the tribe you belong to because we have 45 languages in Ghana As a Voltarian who's typically an Ewe we call it Evo.
It's called "Buff loaf," but it is commonly referred to as "Bofrot." The correct pronunciation is "Buff loaf"; however, due to longstanding misconceptions, "Bofrot" has been widely accepted. Notably, both Google and Siri recognize this pronunciation as valid. Therefore you can call it Buff Loaf or Bofrot, while in Nigeria, it's known as Puff Puff.
Ghanaians not only brought food varieties to the Nigerian people, but, tried to polish you through education in classrooms and how to behaved, but, you couldn't learned from us,very, very sad.
I think Nigerians eat more vegetables than most Ghanaians especially Ibos in Ghana the Northers and and Voltarians eat more green vegetables but because of inter marriages and traveling to work and school in other regions our diets are becoming more homogeneous that’s my opinion
Both Ghanaians and Nigerians have nutritious foods. The problem I see with Ghanaians is that they are unable to market their strengths well. Its not true Ghanaians don't eat lots of vegetables. 99% of Ghanaian meals contain more than three vegetables. Light soup contains- tomatoes, garden eggs, pepper, onions, garlic etc. The Kenkey and pepper contains tomatoes, pepper, onions etc. Anpesi and Garden eggs, or kontomire, contains tomatoes, pepper, Onion, kontonmire etc Banku and Okro contains okro, garden eggs, pepper, tomatoes, onion and other kind of leaf.
