ive been twice today and around this time last year - it has nothibg to do with the tom cruise film but uses alot of the soundtrack from jeff waynes songs - personally i love it, it is incredible theres lots of jumpscares and lots of opportunities to get involved as she says if you have watched the film/listened to the music with a help a bit to get you more involved - i hope this helps!
I recently did this experience I had a VIP pack which included food souvenirs and cocktail I didn't mind paying the inflated price for the pack because it was so amazing what did make me raise my eyebrow was that you said you only got a 15 minute break we got a 20-minute break at the survivors cocktail bar the only thing I would complain about is the photographs you are forced to take I might point out a very expensive and they do try and force sell them to you which I refused three times before I got annoyed but other than that they actually experience itself was quite amazing and I was part of a scene where I was handed a key item that must be passed on to someone else so it was pretty cool
I live in UK for 15 years and I can't find a friend. there are ppl around me to play TT with, to work with, to share a house with, but there's no chance for me to find a friend to hang out or share life .
I did try out the VIP experience last year. It might be worth it if you're going last minute on a Saturday and plan to get the expensive items as you may end up saving some money. Does suck we can't film in it, but I understand why as it would ruin the experience of someone having their phone out filming and the bright light from the screen that can ruin some of moments.
I recently did this experience and I really would advise a couple of things make sure you wear trainers or really good flat shoes and whatever you do don't leave your phone switched on because you will get told off
I went in August with friends, I was disappointed with the experience. I'm a huge WOTW fan and was really looking forward to the experience but it wasn't up to much. We got really immersed with the actors but no one else in the group joined in. The vr wasn't up to much in my opinion. Our tickets were £53 each, the only good thing about it was a pint only cost £5. I'm glad I done it as I had wanted to go for 3 yrs. Would I go again, no
Would of been good if you showed the steam punk bar as you enter too .we loved the whole thing . The boat section was my favourite. The Tom cruise film has nothing to do with this .this experience is based on jeff Wayne's musical version .
Thank you, nice to have the info. Please correct, it’s a famous book by H.G.Wells which subsequently has had a number of screen versions, TV and Film, none of which did justice to the book
Thank you for the video, apprciate your comments. May i ask it is claustrophobic? I am not good in very small areas, like tunnels enclsed rooms with no exit, that kinda thing, also scared of heights, i noticed a commnet abiout heights on their website in the access part, thank you for any advice on this. Melvin
Hi Melvin! I went over a year ago so I'm not sure if it's changed, but I do remember being in a room where it was completely dark. That felt claustrophobic for me. There were times where I remember being in a small space too, but again, this could have changed. I hope that helps!
Not worth it unless you have cash to burn. Graphics are heavily out of date, long waiting times, poor quality expensive food, you could easily spend a small fortune there.
I knooow it was annoying because I feel I wasn't able to capture what it was really like! I guess they want to keep it a surprise for all their guests hehe

Very well said! Thank you for your further explanation :) I'm glad you enjoyed it!
The experience has nothing to do with the tom cruise movie, the immersive experience surpasses any dumb Hollywood film .
Why would it have anything to do with the Tom cruise movie it quite clearly says Jeff Wayne's war of the worlds

This is cool, I remember the original soundtrack and I wondered what this immersive experience was like. Sounds like it's worth a visit 😍
Definitely! I think you'd really enjoy it 😁

Definitely agree! It would have ruined the experience if I had my phone out filming. Glad you enjoyed it!
It sounds good, I love the original album, parents used it to scare me often :D again it's a shame you couldn't sneak a few pics
It was really enjoyable! :D I feel like I should watch the movies now 😁
What a classic based on the novel and based on the soundtrack from years ago soo want to go😊

Sounds like a lot of fun. I used to the like TV show ages ago when I was a kid. Kind of a bummer on the no pics or video during the experience. ✌
Definitely lots of fun! 😁
I’m planning to book this but i just wanted to ask, are the tunnels or slides too scary? as I’m scared of any basic rides in general.

I have been, also had the fast pass too 👻 I love Shockotoberfest! I will defintirly review it if we go again this year 👻
What a shame they didn’t let you take any pictures or film
Agreed!! I guess they don't want anyone to ruin it for others I suppose! :)
i can ummarise it in 5 seconds. GREAT
😳so sad no pictures or filming 🫣

It wasn’t a movie. It was a book made by H. G. wells
We are going today ❤
Daft question but would an epileptic person be OK with this do you think? X
Thanks for asking, I'd like to go but need to know how much flashing light is there?
Not a daft question
@@martind3359 thank you for saying that. I have Epilepsy and I want to go but from what I'm researching I don't think I would be able too x
It’s not a movie, it’s a book
It was actually a radio show too
War of the worlds is a socialist novel!!! And that was adapted into a movie 😂 loved this video though!
