I love self serve drinks….nothing worse than sitting there waiting on a server to refill your drink with a giant plate of food waiting to get in my belly!
Oh man I almost forgot about us eating at Excalibur! Can’t lie, I was impressed with the variety of the food there. I was totally sleeping on this place.. Great choice!!

I already know this is gonna be a great review, the Excalibur buffet is my favorite - very underrated with amazing food, perfect for my taste.
The classic- it's slow-mo syrup pouring time 10:55. Good value for $27. And a cameo by the Kiddd74.

I've never been a gourmet because I love buffets, and the Excalibur buffets right up my alley. Thank you Matthew it's a great video as always. Glad it was better than expected for the price that's always a plus for me.

I had that buffet in 2018, it was a good buffet for the price, they kept everything well stocked, very clean and it was super busy when I went , staff were super helpful and friendly.
And I quote "Chocolate Lava Cake, woohoo, looks good". Great video, I always like an honest review on food. A few funny moments, 🤭. Keep the videos coming.

It’s my favorite buffet 😁😁😁 and pozole is a Mexican soup, you can add lemon and topping to it. Especially good for hangover cures 🥰 so happy you liked it, and the crepe station OMG!!!! Love Excalibur Buffett 😄😄😄

Pozole (pō•zō•lay) Mexican soup with corn hominy suspended in a red Chile broth. Spicy but in Vegas, it's down played pretty well to mild at most. It's cousin Menudo (Men•ōō•dōh) which is the same soup but has panzas, to (pahn•sahs) (beef tripe (honeycomb stomach lining) and patas (pah•tahs) (beef or pigs feet).
Great to see that the buffet was impressive for you. Was there last year and it was a bit of a let down. It appeared to be under staffed and quite dirty. Keep up the good work!

Last time I was there was 2019. This was my breakfast spot whenever I stayed at Excalibur since I had Resort Credit to use. Omlette station was on point, but as you said, you can't really mess that up. Not bad for the money at all.
Good to see Excalibur buffet has been renovated and the food is good now.

Great video, I’ve heard others praising the Excalibur as an inexpensive gem. Not great but good to very good. As for the unknown item with the berry sauce, it’s a blintz, a Jewish cheese enchilada if you will. They can be sweet, with fruit or cheese, or savory with potato fillings. The cookies, the pastel colored sandwiches are macaron (Mak a rahn) the coconut mound is a macaroon. It’s a Passover cookie made with no flour. You made me hungry, good video! Thanks Matthew!
I would use part of my $100 food credit for this buffet. I was going to use it fir the Bellagio buffet but im going to the wicked spoon. So i think after this video im going to this buffet instead. Better value

That’s what I’m talking about, for $28 this place is my favorite I’ve eaten there at 1x every I’m in Las Vegas I’m not doing paying no $90 a person before tips buffet and resorts fees and parking fees all those fees is for idiots, I remember not too long ago Vegas use to give us free rooms and meals just to go out there , and now the change the tables rules so they can our money faster and more ahhh hell no not going boycott

I am so excited to learn that Excalibur offers gluten free desserts. I wish you could have tried them and let us know how they were. I have Celiac, so I'm always on the lookout for Vegas restaurants that offer decent tasting gluten free options 😋
That was a strawberry blitz, most coffee shops like IHOP serves them, of course you can use any fruit warmed up on a blitz, even chocolate or hazelnut swirled on top with whipped cream.. to me it’s dessert anytime of the day! 😁 My hubby and I go to Vegas about twice a year, we drive there from California. We’ve stay at several of the high end hotels and get that free buffet with the hotel stay and we usually just have breakfast at those buffets, but during lunch while out and about, sometimes we’ll stopped at Excalibur’s buffet because we know it’s not as expensive but still has good quality food and a big variety. All the years we’ve been going to Vegas, we always find a new restaurant or buffet we haven’t tried yet, it’s like endless food in Vegas! Sometimes even the expensive buffets hit and miss with their food, I still like the buffet at the Wynn! 😁
I’ll be there next week for the Pro Bowl🏈 🔥and staying there. Most deff checking this place out.
Hubby and I loved the Studio B Buffet at the M Resort in Henderson. Too bad it's still closed. Sunset Station, Main Street Station and Silverton buffets were pretty good, too.

MMM! I miss buffet's. Always my go to in Vegas. In early 2021 (last time I went) I think only Wynn was open and they were serving you at the table, so I skipped it.. Hoping to get back in a few months. I'm hitting them all. I've stayed at Excalibur and it was always a good buffet. Not the most upscale, but good food!
Happy to hear the Kiddd in the background! I had Excalibur buffet in September and thought it was a good value. I'm trying Luxor buffet in a couple weeks to compare since they are both owned by MGM. Maybe they are the same, better, or worse. Have you ate at the Luxor?

Ryan, last time I ate at Luxor was 2008. It was OK, not great. However, that is outdated information by now. I'd be interested to hear new details, also.

I’ve eaten at this buffet. Like you said, for the price, it’s pretty good! I’ve only paid for one buffet in my life. That was at the Luxor in December of last year. Pre-pandemic, MyVEGAS has free buffets at all the MGM resorts. I’d snag those up for eating on my Vegas trips. I definitely think the buffet at Excalibur is underrated simply because the price for what you get. Is it top notch? No. But it does give a really good value for the buck. Luxor is about the same.

I actually like the self serve drink section. They usually have a wide selection and you don’t have to rely on your server to refill your beverages.
Went Monte Carlo was still around... 1st time i went was is 1998... their breakfast buffet was 13.99 with AYCD mimosas... and the buffet was absolutely delish! I miss buffets that were reasonably priced & delicious.. Just like Bellagios dinner buffet was $35 in 2009...had the best steak tartare (i know..at a buffet right??) They also had a delish rabbit dish too..AYCE King Crab that were split for you.. snow crab ..prime rib etc... 😫 Miss those days... I also remember when the Sterling Brunch was only $65pp.. most recently was $125pp .. now i believe its completely closed..
Hi Matthew never been to a Buffet in Vegas. I haven’t been to a restaurant that Norma reviewed. Its called bardot it’s in Aria hotel. If you get there for an appetizer shrimp and oysters. 😋 I got the almond brittle French toast it was the absolutely best French toast I ever had. I did not even use any syrup it was that good. P.s it’s macaroons. Macarons are those colorful whoopie pie looking cookies that are filled with cream inside 😊
My favorite budget buffer used to be Mirages Cravings buffet, but since that is gone it's now Excaliburs.

Hi Matthew Tanya from Australia I loved this video and at $26.00 is pretty good value I have only been to 1 buffet when in Vegas on my last trip and that was Fremont hotel downtown at $18.00 they had good selection as well. But Excalibur looks very nice and would go and as for getting your own drinks I like self serve you don't have to wait for a server and maybe get out of giving a tip, because I'm on a budget when in Vegas I need to keep my money but food looks great when back in Vegas would definitely would go.

Last time I ate at the buffet, I had atleast 10 plates of the muscles they were really good. Also they had a special for the drink package and definitely got my $20 worth

I would say Wicked Spoon for Brunch and Wynn at 2pm Prices and Stay for Dinner would be my suggestion nowadays for Vegas Buffets besides some of the ACYE Sushi, Korean BBQ, and Lobster places in Chinatown. I felt Bachannal fell very short for how expensive it was. For $80 I would have rather eaten at Hells Kitchen.
Works out best if you stay there and get the food and drink credit included in your room rate, usually included with online offers for past guests. Not much of a buffet guy, like to spread my food dollar around. Golden Steer is about my limit as far as buffets go.
