I am a collector of dolls, fairy’s, angel’s and now, Gnomes! To me, arms and legs gives life! I started watching the video on tall Gnome with legs and love the idea of using newborn shoes from dollar tree. Thanks so much for sharing your crafts and your videos are very good.
I love your gnomes. I would like to make a standing gnome but I don't know how long the dowel for the legs is . Could you please tell me how long. Thankyou
thank you! i asked you about the legs for my angels i want to make, but now i think i may make some of these little guys too!! i don’t sew, and this is something i can actually do!!! thank you! new subscriber too!
Thank you so much! This means the world to me because I know exactly what you mean! I hate when I’m looking for how to make something and it’s so vague and frustrating! My home is to always be clear and and not withhold from people.
you did a fine job and this is just become an hierloom piece that will be passed down through your family little mistakes make them just that much more special.
Absolutely amazing tutorial and so easy to follow. so professional and so well made.. he is so adorable and you have made me so excited to make one too :) thank you so much for sharing with us all.
Thank you so much -- this is an amazing tutorial -- I got lost with the shoe part -- what did you do with the egg piece and the sock? I just didn't get the connection of the two. Thank you.
What a neat idea! What crafted doesn’t have these around the house! I’m unclear of the plastic egg. You place that on the inside, then add the stones for stability, correct? When you said slipper I think if something over the socks.
@@tenderfootvillage Thank you. I wasn`t sure if it was needed for something. The socks are too cute to cover up. Thank you so much for making us a video. Makes me think.... I can do it. :)
Hi..I watched another of your standing gnome videos. Why are the shoes made differently? The other one, you used metal nuts for weight. I can't quite see on this video how you placed the pebbles into the plastic shoe forms. Shoes are my sticking point..🤔 I love your videos and the gnomes look great.😊
Hi! The shoes are done differently as is anything I change from one tutorial to the next if I find something that is more efficient, effective, works better, etc... I'm always trying new things to improve on the things I create.
I seem to have missed something...when you get ready to put leg sticks into booties it looks like there is plastic in the bootie..you poke a hole in it...what is inside the bootie besides pebbles?
You know what's going to happen, don't you? Large numbers of socks are going to materialize into my stash of "things I would really love to make". This Gnome is totally cute.
I am new here! Yippeeee! My daughter is in her early 20's and she LOVES anything with gnomes so I was looking last night for ideas for a DIY Christmas gift idea and BOOM! I found your channel! You are the best at instructions out of all the other TH-cam channels I have seen! I am so excited to have this be my first DIY gift for my daughter! I do have a question though.... Where can I find those thick foam pieces you used for the arms? Are they hair rollers? Thank you!
I just discovered your channel and am so excited to recreate some of the gnomes. I purchased this pattern so it will be my first. Kinda apprehensive but I will do my best.

@@tenderfootvillage Thank you so much -- I made one today! IT WAS SUCH FUN.
Where do you buy the tubes for inside the arms?
Thank you SO much! This is so detailed, I think even I can do it ... and this is the most adorable gnome.
What a neat idea! What crafted doesn’t have these around the house! I’m unclear of the plastic egg. You place that on the inside, then add the stones for stability, correct? When you said slipper I think if something over the socks.
It is over socks. The socks I bought from Dollar Tree come with a plastic form. This is what I am filling with rocks in the sock.
Tenderfoot Village thanks!
Great job, thank you for sharing. Can't wait to see the rest of video. Stay safe and have a wonderful day
Thanks! You too!
Great video! I went to Facebook to try and find you but couldn't

LOVE THIS!! What size are socks? Newborn? Not clear on how you sewed shorts. Video ended.
Socks ARE newborn. I am working on another video specifically on the shorts. I had serious computer issues. I’m so sorry.
@@tenderfootvillage no biggee...I really appreciate the videos you have made! Too cute!
Oh I love your gnomes they are so cute!
Can we take the baby socks off of the plastic form underneath and just use that to save the socks?
I’m sure you can! Go for it!!

I get them at my Dollar Tree
Tenderfoot Village I must have a really small Dollar Tree because I never can find all the cute stuff you guys use.
Same here. Never have products here that are on you tube videos...sad
I seem to have missed something...when you get ready to put leg sticks into booties it looks like there is plastic in the bootie..you poke a hole in it...what is inside the bootie besides pebbles?
It comes inside the baby socks from Dollar Tree

I absolutely love your Gnome! Would you mind telling me where you get your materials? I would so appreciate it!
I listed supplies in the description but I do need to add that. I got all my supplies from Walmart and the Dollar Tree. The fur is from Joann Fabrics
Super hermoso❤😊
So perfect 💛
Are there any alternatives for the egg?
You could possibly use toilet paper roll and cut into the shape. There are also other way to make the shoes that aren’t slippers.
@@tenderfootvillage ok. Thank you so much
Where is video 2?
How long are the dowels for the legs?
Did you ever find out what size dowels ?
Thanks for sharing this! You say the pj legs are 10 wide, but they are doubled, right? So it's 20 wide all together?
Correct!
