- After receiving a bummed motorcycle from the rental company in the Dominican Republic, I was off to find another which by the way wasn't an easy task. Finally I scored one just before sundown and the next day I was off, aimless roaming around the dirt roads and of course in search for amazing natural sites. One in which I only found through the help of a local man who decided to lead me, take me by his home, feed me bananas, and ultimately show me a very secret spot waterfall cave with crystal clear turquoise waters... another amazing day of motorcycle exploration

The title you selected, "Magical Discoveries," could easily be the title of your entire series -- nearly every video presents something intriguing, interesting, impressive, beautiful, or magical. And as I think I've mentioned before, in addition to the explicit experiences you're sharing, I seriously believe that while it may not always be evident to you, you're doing the countries you visit a great favor by showing an often skeptical world how much they have to offer in terms of quaint towns; beautiful natural sites; and generally decent and welcoming people. I hope you remain able and willing to keep it up.

Haha me too, first time I’ve gotten that and actually I’m surprised I haven’t gotten it more! 😂😂 (although first time I’m renting a bike). So true it’s the hiccups that make it all memorable
Chasing waterfalls by motorcycle and hiking is my absolute favourite thing to do. Your video reminds me so much of my own adventures, when I was living in the Philippines. I can't wait to go back and to experience it over and over again. I wish you happy travels and a safe your journey.

I agree, it is the cool places motorcycles can take you to. I just spent six hours yesterday exploring the mountains in Oaxaca, amazing views! Rental bikes in the DR are always in bad shape, tourists beat on them, and they never get maintained. I'll bet at times you were missing the BMW.

Beautiful shots, especially the drone ones. That hike looked a bit challenging (for an old man like me), but you made it look easy. And that dip into the water was just the thing you needed, I guess. Strange-looking bananas, eh?

😬😬😬 yea I’m sorry I can’t recommend. I went out of my way to go to them bc they had good reviews but turned out they weren’t honest. You’re just as good renting from any of the many vendors on the street in Cabarete.

When you’ve your own bike do not accelerate staring it, it is dry inside, it needs to start the lubrication before gas
you sure about this? manual even says to gas it a bit and press the starter, what you says does make sense tho just wondering

Gosh I wish I knew!! Almost all the bikes I saw in the DR were brands I was unfamiliar with or even seemed brandless 😂

They're Chinese brands and most like it's a Gato brand.
In the DR anything over 100cc is considered a big bike 😂😂😂
Then again gas is like $5 USD a gallon so those little bike will get you like 50 mpg
