I'm in the north west of the UK and grow a few tropical fruiting and non fruiting plants. The majority of mine are in my front living room south east facing, some permanently and others just for the winter period. I do have gro lights in that room. I also have plants in my bathroom including Jackfruit, Mango, Atemoya and Guava, they get humidity when the shower is on. I also have a gro tent too which i use for seed germinating and rooting cuttings . When I'm repotting i do that outside so there's no issue of soil making a mess everywhere. Alot depends on everyones individual home environment, also their outdoor area, may not be big enough to accomodate a greenhouse, or summerhouse/prefab building.
Yeah I hope that's precisely what I got across in my video. I explained my own feelings as to why I chose a greenhouse - but also that it turned out to be not the best option in my case. I'm pleased you've managed to solve the problems in your own environment and as a fellow north-west dweller - I know that isn't an easy thing to accomplish.
I simply love your videos, even i dont grow all the same plants😅. You so down to earth, great info and entertainment. I love how u cover so many different kind of plant families. How to keep plant happy and how to deal with pests and growing in a Greenhouse. I love that your just a 'normal' grower like the rest of us. That is not a bad thing, trust me!. That you dont go overboard and keep it simple. Sometimes people over think much over stuff and ends up killing plants. I know you dont get many views but your Videos are Superb and the work u put into them. I Wish you the best and stay healthy good sir😊. Atm i have way too many plants 😅, idk what to do other than sell plants but i love them all 🙃🤫.
Thanks that really does mean a lot - especially when, as you point out, I don’t get many views. I try my best with it, try to keep learning and improving, and cross my fingers that one day I’ll get to a level that’s good enough to get a whole lot more views. And if I run out of time before that happens, then I’ll have enjoyed the journey. 😁
@Grow_Up_Man55 i think you are good enough, its just yt bein yt, people go for fake info on indian yt channels and get fake info. All of the good ol channels, that is plant friendly that really want the earth to be greener dont get views. People like the drama etc, its a same really. People should learn more about nature since its one thing that keeps us alive...
@grannyplants1764 If it works for you and you’ve solved the environment problems then great, go with it. You’ve done it again Judy. You need to start your own comment thread! 🤣 Hope you’re well. 😁
Getting some small plant lights was a game changer for me, plus they brightened up a dark area. Thanks for this info! 😊🪴. Yes the earlier comment is in the wrong place again, my bad 🤣
Yeah definitely lighting can make all the difference. In my case, as the temperatures drop so much, it’s only the lights that get most plants through it. If my light dropped too it would be bye bye plants.
Great tips, thanks and happy growing!
I am so glad I ran across your video. I am sempre tired and decided to build a greenhouse. Beginner but love gardening in cold minnesota!
Really pleased you found it helpful and good luck with your build!

I’d love a small greenhouse…but am happy with 2 eastern, large windowsills and 4 shelves with plant lights. Very good info! 🪴
