Nice to see some love for the Fat Bob. And you’re dead on with it being a multi-purpose bike. Road mine on a 2,500 mile trip a few months after I got her. Trips aren’t a problem. Love my Fat Bob!

This bike is sick I have a 2018 Fatbob 114 and I love it. Just as fun in the twisties as my CBR. This thing rips and the performance is great especially after putting in an aftermarket cam and tune!

Nice review. I just bought a 20' Fat Bob. Great all round bike. I owned a Dyna super glide sport and softail night train for many years. This new M8 motor and Softail chassis put the Dyna and old softail too shame literally! There is simply no comparison! Thanks

@@theinfinitryda I also have a 17' Honda CBR 1000RR. Like U said the FB is a great all round bike, much more comfy that the CBR . Had a stage 1, cruise control & heated grips put on it as well.

I think the V-Rod was Harleys best attempt at a sporty bike and now it’s gone. Do think the Fatbob is a nice bike but I thought the FXDR was suppose to be there sportiest bike?

It is but the Fatbob would have mor ground clearance. FXDR is the muscle bike and Fatbob is the sporty bike

The FXDR is the muscle bike and the Fatbob is their sporty bike. Well that and the roadster

Harley Davidson was tripping, putting a 3.59 gallon gas tank on this bike; while adding a bigger engine.

It's a bigger engine but it has better mpg. I honestly never feel like it holds me back on mine.

Are u comparing the performance to other Harveys Davison(jab) or in general to other bikes ?
I ride an octane and gen2 vmax, and they are fast cruisers across any make. That's my reference point.
My Buddy wants a bike... I'm trying to push him to Indian for performance and bang for buck, but he likes harley... so I'm doing my homework to support him in his choice.
Can that fatbob, which I like the look, perform well next to a indy scout bobber? I know it's outclassed by vmax,rocket3, 109boss maybe.
In my mind an octane would smoke and out twist a fatbob, but it's at least a fair compare since fatbob is torqued out, and octane has 104hp before mods, but I dunno.
I ask as I know a scout bobber 2018-2020 is hella fast once u put 800bux of mods(flash, slippons, airbox mod).
So fatbob, streetbob, Indian scout bobber. Which one u think will keep a smile on a new owner longest.... ?
I know harley will keep a bigger smile at trade-in time bc of value, that's a given.

I’d say the Fatbob. I’ve ridden all of them and the Fatbob is the funnest between the 3.
