"Sometimes you will fail obeying God..." I found that to be a humiliating experience and questioned my own merits. Did I hear correctly? Did I hear but misunderstand? "Whoever takes the glory, takes the shame..." Why am I hearing this for the first time today??? It would have saved me so much hurt and so much uncertainty had I simply known this. The crazy thing is even when it looked like I failed at the time, it's only in hindsight that I can see the benefit and even necessity of whatever it was that seemingly went wrong. Being able to draw on that has prevented much worse from being my portion now. Whoever takes the glory, takes the shame. That sounds like a deal to me.
