Wow, i never played the SNES version of this. So they changed the level layout, added bad music AND gave hints in case you couldnt figure it out. I def prefer the amiga version.
@GXSCChater Yeah, its always the way though. The version you play as a kid is always the best. At least you dont have to wait for the floppies to load on the Snes haha.
I'm actually making a TAS (tool-assisted speed run) of this game. I've done the first level but not the boss and it's really, really optimal. I did make the TAS all the way up to level 4 but then I realized I could have been a few seconds faster back on the first level so I started it all again. I don't know if the game has any glitches and I'm not that great at discovering them. But even if it does I'm sure they won't be helpful anyway.
@Kharnivore2099 believe it or not, you can change the soundtrack to the Amiga version in the options. Dosen't sound as good as the amiga version, but at least its there. I like this theme though. But then again I played this version first as a kid.
Hahaha as a kid I was sold this game buy some sketchy guy, he told me it was the Samurai Jack Game... I remember this game was really hard for me, partially because I didn't know any English when I was a kid... I got to the last boss but I never beat him
@Defectordrunkzone Ye for some reason the music was very good on average in SNES and PS games but todays game its way down. I Got 8 bit music such from Phantasy star.
This is my favorite snes game.
