Diving: Hin Daeng, Hin Muang

Finally got round to taking a trip to Lanta to do some diving, heard a lot of good things about the dive sites there and they didn't disappoint! Hin Daeng and His Muang are two pinnacles in a ridge that runs down the Andaman sea and they're pretty close together but only one, Hin Daeng, breaks the surface. We did one dive on each and they were both breathtaking, so many fish, and the soft coral is beautiful. Looking out into the blue you can sea big schools of trevally and jacks, and the orange spine unicorn fish, emperor angelfish and triggers were unusually friendly.

I was immersed on these sites on January 4 and 7, 2015. We met a whale shark and a manta ray. It's a pity that I didn't have a camera then. Only positive memories remain.
