Cat really have upped the specifications and expectations for the >2T Mini Excavator market segment with their Next Generation models.

I had a Cat 302.7D and loved it but i wanted to get a newer machine. I priced up a New Generation 302 canopy and it was more money than Kubota U35 which is almost twice its size...lol!!...needless to say I didn't buy the cat and I've had 4 of them...Cat has priced themselves right out of the market...they have put all their eggs in the technology basket thinking they are going to whooo all the guys that just want to dig a friggin hole...bad business model and they are going to lose market share!
