I can almost bet that those fake pair you had were the first batch of originals .....nike makes them and doesn't ship them out ad china keeps those and sells them...pretty much like a sample because most fake pairs never have a production date tag that is identical to the original its usually a ironed on version its never....either on the side of the shoe or the tongue....nike has production before production meaning those aren't authorized to be sold at your authorized retailers ...I'm telling you those look way too good to be fake...most the time even the shoe inserts are Jordan logos ad not Nike Air logos and even sometimes a fake shoe would feel a size down they never feel like a true shoe size....I know this was 2yrs ago but im looking at this because I just bought my second pair thru eBay authentic guaranteed ....

This shoe was a major GR so there are a good bit of production dates as long as it starts August-September and ends in November-December you should be good

In my opinion going by the box, label, tissue paper, hang tag etc is useless. They can simply put a fake pair in a legit box.

BS I see people in the comments don't know what they're talking about. Go buy a pair of knock off's. After about to weeks the soles start immediately wearing down. Especially if you're walking on concrete consistently (City). Jordan soles last for a long moment before they start to wear and tear. You pay for your moneys worth (quality).
The Jordan 3's are the best Jordans ever made in my opinion (and Mike's!). So f'in comfortable, i had them in 88, got the retro in 94 which i still have.

I buy UA shoes beacause the originals always sold out in a snap. Then they sell them twice or 4x times the retail price. Like Im not gonna spend more than the retail price. Who cares if I wear fakes right? I enjoy wearing them and I dont wanna get broke just for paying twice the price tag. Lol!

The production date on each shoe is different so you can't go by that 2 Determine if the shoe is real and not

Charles Moffatt jr mines literally from july to november and everything else except the sizeing under the insole (not 100% sure if thats a way to check since ppl are saying that some dont have it) so idk i think nike fucked up this realese by not keeping it constant with production
I’ve seen many “authentic” production dates so I don’t think that’s a good indicator.
Just word of advice. Your so called “Sneaker Head friends” don’t have a cousin that works in the nike factory or they don’t have a plug. Their plug is UA’s.

1. Cheaper
2. Less hassle
3. Nobody from my friends really know how to legit check and if they do, they wouldn’t.

Btw fam, I see what you mean, but they did release the 3’s with a RED hang tag they were the Katrina joints. But most definitely if you got a 2018 jawns with a red hang tag, you done got jugged! ✌🏼️💯

I know this is such a small detail but i'm curious. Does the placement of the size sticker on the insole matter? I've seen almost everyone's bellow the Nike Air on the insole and mine are above.

It was a returned pair from the Nike Factory Store. But the other things check out like the UV light test.
Got 2 pairs from Nike 2 pairs from Eastbay and 1 pair from footaction. The production dates are different on two of them.. so I wouldn’t count that as a legit check... mine all say LN3 on the tag label as well.. why does your real pair say LNM? And last but not least I don’t think the box size label matters in alignment to the logos on the bottom of the box. They are all not the same on mine and they all came from the manufacturers as well.

Serious nobody will ever know if you sporting fake shoes. Go to China and buy all the shoes you ever wanted for a real small price. I’ve never bought any fake J’s but my brother has been to China and copped a pair of fake yeezy’s. Can’t tell the difference. He’s worn them everyday to work and people give him props all the time. It’s lasted quite well too. Just my 2 cents.

The box on the fakes are the same one I received from Nike also is the same from eastbay. I don't think the box is a giveaway and also the dates they're different

So if the size is missing on the inside its 100% fake or its another thing depending on the place purchased? Bought a pair off ebay and seller said he got from finishline.

It came with the receipt but could have been switched. Is it possible that ln4 finishline batch doesnt have it? I compared to another retail pair I got and that one has the size, but everything else is the same on them except that pair has a thicker air lettering and its ln3.
That pair does sound suspect but if that’s the only flaw it might just be a factory defect
The jumpman logo is on the opposite side of the label of the box like you pointed out, but the lettering on the boxes are the same and the tops are both the same size. I cant tell if they are reps or the finishline batch came slightly varied.

I have 2 pairs, one I got off Nike the other on eBay. The pair from Nike have LN3 while the pair from eBay have LNM on the size tab. Are they legit?
SoleSurvivor23 Do the boxes you got from eBay have a sticker on the side of the box lid? If the sticker doesn’t have the acronym for a sneaker retailer like Foot Action, Foot Locker, Finish Line, Champs Sports, Jimmy Jazz, etc. they might not be legit.

Naw dude, spaced out or not, there’s legit pairs that have spaced out elephant print. Another way to tell supposedly was the elephant print cut. That it’s cut higher on the fake pair. But I have a two pairs from retailers, and one pair sits higher than the other. Maybe a little higher than usual. It’s quality control, and point blank, fakes are just too good nowadays. Look at supa dupa rupa reviews on the black cement 3’s that are UA. Can’t tell at all

LN4 is just a production line from the factory. Same with LN3. Those letterings wont make or break it in terms of legit or fake. I have two pairs bought from Champs. One has LN3 and the other has LN4 with different production dates to boot.
I got LN4, LN3, and LNM on my pairs. I have 4 all come from either SNKRS, Finishline or RuVilla. The fact that people are spreading LN4 as fake is pissing me off. Had to make my RuVilla pair the ones I wear because people are weary of the LN4 code thinking they're fake.

Every pair even from legit retail store get different flaws, got 3 pairs from FNL, Shoepalace, and foot patrol (uk) 🤔, but them all good on the UV light part👍!

Your theory about the box bottom is not 100% correct. I have a pair purchased from Footlocker where the Jumpman logo is on the same side of the box as the label. Everything else in your vid is spot on but that is not totally true.

In the video the REAL one has LNM. I have two pairs. One has LN3 and the other has LN4 bought both from Champs on release day. My friend who works at Champs was getting calls that their shoes were fake even though they bought it from the store just because someone on TH-cam had said LN4 was fake. Thats not the type of fake news people should be spreading.
