There's already a lot of solo guides out there, though I understand the want for Drewski to do one himself. But it can be easy to at least survive in solo, and I'll drop a few tips here: Walk. Walking is really important, as audio queues are massive in EFT, same with going through bushes. Slow walk when you think there's enemies nearby and hide, and only run when you have no cover at all (ex. Through an empty field, crossing over a road, etc...), and talking about audio queues, sometimes you should just sit, crouch and listen. It's really important that you put sound as your no. 1 priority when playing solo. Before looting, make sure the enemy didn't have a friend, be it a pmc or a scav, scan the perimeter, and if inside a building, clear the nearby rooms. When looting, quickly grab what you think is worth it and move, or just grab his whole backpack if you can while searching his pockets or identifying something, and move to cover, then search the pack. Sitting in one place as a solo player is a death sentence, especially when it comes down to gunfights, unless you're in a room with only 1 exit. Be constantly on the move, and have your head on a swivel, especially in a gunfight break. If the enemy's friend manages to sneak up on you, chances are you're dead. If you can, you shouldn't get close to high traffic areas, like the center or intersection on Interchange, Reshala's Fortress area or the Dorms on Customs or the bunker(kinda hard to miss this one if you're doing money runs) or the train station on Reserve. Grenades are life savers, even if they make big noise, they can cover your retreat, force someone out of cover or outright kill a trapped player. Remember the room with 1 exit thing? Yeah. As for the big boom, gunfights attract players. As soon as a gunfight ends, move. Move move move. Quick loot and get out of there. People are surely gonna show up, even if it's only like 1 or 2 guys.
Oh, also, another tip when it comes down to more shitty players, aka campers or turtles. Quick peek. Don't slowly come around a corner, you'll die. If you suspect a player, quickly move out of cover and back in to take a quick peek, even if you can't exactly tell who it is or what gear they have or whatever. The important thing is that you didn't know if there was someone there, but now you do, and you can try to kill them.
