    This is going to be a tough decision for Norvell because when you are on the hot seat you cannot afford to be striking out with coordinators. You need someone who can produce quick results and knows how to recruit high level talent.

      Tbh….. MN literally can’t strike out. His offense was so bad I dint think anyone would be worse

    I think Mike is going to need a lot of help to get out of this situation he might need to hire ex coaches or nfl coaches someone who he learn from someone that can win big games

    I like Kade Bell and Brennan Marion both are great young coaches. Kade Bell has a lot of contacts and relationships in Florida and throughout the southeast. I would slightly lean Bell for that reason we need more coaches on staff with relationships in our recruiting footprint. Either would be a great choice however.

      I feel as you that FSU needs more coaches with recruiting ties to the Sunshine State and the Southeast.

      Nah..... GoGo offense or Shanahan from Indiana

      The problem with Kade is the UF ties. His dad is former UF QB Kerwin Bell.

    Why not go for Brian Hartline? OC/wr coach.... He is hands down the best wr coach/recruiter in the country. Offer him enough money to leave Ohio state

    Norvell don't need help with play calling. He needs to turn it over and cosch his coaches.

    Imagine saying and believing UNC has a solid defense lol. Their defense is in the bottom third nationally in nearly every metric. Then imagine thinking that the Pitt QB having a good game against UNC's horrible defense means their OC could be the answer.

    I don’t see either of these guys Leading FSU back to prominence. They’re basically the same quality as the last two coordinators.
    FSU needs SUCCESSFUL and POVEN Coordinators from Big Time Programs. If not, FSU will be mediocre at best.

      Under the circumstances right now, that's going to be very difficult. You never know, but it's unlikely

    Does conference prejudice come into play? If FSU wants into Big10 or SEC, I would encourage Norvell to only look at coaches from the target conference.

      It helps if a coach has SEC or B10 experience but it's not the only answer.

    • @cattnipp
      @cattnipp 15 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @ yes for the experience but does it also show a commitment to the conference? The idea of “buying into” the conference? Just a theory.

    I've been saying that Norvell doesn’t have the respect of the players. Maybe he should fade into the background and let his new coordinators take the lead. Let them do the press conferences. Norvell is a terrible speaker.

    How about Coach Alex Atkins! Let him run the offense. I guarantee the players will buy in to him and his coaching style.
