Nothing has changed, can't defend, can't score, can't control the middle of the pitch. Honeymoon is over for the gaffer, Mads on the bench, Riis on the pitch? No. No, No. Millwall are relegation fodder, same as us. And they ripped us apart.
Sorry, how can you say that Millwall are relegation fodder for this season? Do us a favour. Neil Harris’ return towards the end of last season (with 13 games left) was a revelation. We beat eventual promotion playing Southampton at St. Mary’s in Neil’s first game, beat league winners Leicester and won all of our last 5 league games on the trot. OK, we ground out results and the football wasn’t great, but we staved off relegation and this season has seen the shackles come off and our strikers are scoring goals aplenty, despite having two main strikers and four influential midfielders all out injured. When these 6 players return we will have a decent depth to our squad which the gaffer can rotate and keep things fresh. There is no way we will be in the bottom three by the end of the season. Worst case scenario is we finish mid table. Best case scenario is a play off place. We very nearly reached a play off place a couple of seasons ago, under the defensive minded play of Gary Rowett. This time we have a better manager and better players so a top 6 finish isn’t out of the question on our current form! Having said that, we’ll probably give Cardiff their first win of the season tonight. lol. Anyways, good luck for the rest of the season and I hope you don’t go down!
@@andrewroberts299 When you played us, we both had 5 points, now you have 8. Preston are still on 5 and in the bottom 3, so how you work out that your a team to be feared is beyond me. Best of luck for the season tho.
@@northernmonkeycha4248 I never said we were to be feared, just outlined that this season we are playing better pass and move football. Had you played us last season when Harris first came in, chances are you might have beaten us or got a draw, because we did lose a few games under him then, once we were safe, our players played with a bit more of a relaxed freedom and we won our last 5 games of the season. It was only a couple of defensive lapses that we narrowly lost our two opening games this season against Watford (2 - 3) and Bristol City (3 - 4). So far no one’s given us a tonking so I’m optimistic that we will hold our own in this division.
@@andrewroberts299 Hey presto, you just got beaten by the bottom of the league, who hadn't won a game all season. Best put the cork back in that bottle of champagne my friend,
@@northernmonkeycha4248 yep, knew it was gonna happen. If you haven’t won a series of games then play Millwall and they’ll gift you 3 points! Lol (but I guess all fans think that about their clubs). Every thing we did on Saturday we did the opposite last night. We were out fought and out played (certainly 2nd half) and yes, we had chances but as we all know, you don’t take them you don’t score. Now we’ll probably beat West Brom at the Hawthorns on Saturday! lol. Good luck for tonight. COYL.
Never understood travelling all that way to leave early?
MATIJA SARKIC ❤
