This Is Me Trying | Joel Maisel

Tribute to one my fav characters! I loved this season of maisel and i was very happy with his arc. I understand why a lot of maisel fans don’t like joel, but to me he is such a symbol of trying to do the right thing when you don’t even know who you are and I love to watch it!

I started the series out, not liking Joel at all. I found him to be whiny and self centered. But come the series finale, and he had become one of my favorites. Joel probably had the most growth of anyone in the series. The man sacrificed his own freedom so that Midge could have hers. THis is so well done. You understand Joel's character so well. Understand his mistakes, faults, flaws and growth.
