I personally have spoken with R Shimon and he is the real deal. His programs are well thought out and he is the missing piece of the puzzle that you have been waiting for to book a ticket.
I'm in the middle of trying to make Aliyah from Montreal. Unbelievably the biggest hurdle I'm having is getting a rabbi to sign my letter than I'm Jewish including the shul where my grandfather was a cantor for 18 years, and the shul where I had my bar mitzvah.
I can't help but read the first few pesukim of Chagai with the meforshim and not think of the growing unsustainability of frum life in America as going to EY becomes easier and easier yet so many Jews still refuse to do it.
You should mention age limits in Israel. For work, study, scholarships and nearly all Israel programs. I had to leave Israel the first time I returned after being told I was too old for everything I wanted to do. Qualifications and health do not count, just a number! This must be outlawed by the Knesset. There is a media blackout on this issue. The government tries to break up Jewish families with age limits.
Why start with 7th grade? What about the younger kids and integrating them as well? After 3 years of age integration becomes very challenging as well.. not age 9, and high school begins age 14. Is there adequate schooling for new Olim between the ages of 3-13?
In israel there are many high schools that actually begin in 7th grade. You can't compare this to what you are familiar with. There has to be some adjustment on the part of the immigrant.
I wonder what you mean by success? The most important is the heart and to reach out to others in love and compassion is important. Some who have a high title for instance do not have a warm and compassionate heart while there are others who for instance are unemployeed who have a better heart. Love is like a gold more worth than usual gold and compassion a treasure. David was chosen because of his heart, not his skills.

Age limits is not good! Elderly and young also need each other and both young and old have same value!
Is success the right reason to move to Eretz Yisrael?
Does there need to be a “right reason” to move to E”Y? It’s a מצוה דאורייתא. Do you need a “right reason” to keep Shabbos?
There are many reasons to move to Eretz Yisroel
If you define success in terms of thriving as Jews, YES!
I agree that there are many reasons to move to Eretz Yisrael, you seems to be able to say Eretz Yisroel, too.
