It’s so funny to me that we’ve obviously each collated the exact same info from the US and come to the same conclusions. Have you tried DCS1 wax from discount candle supply? I’m using SCX at the moment so I have a fall back in case of supply issues but DCS1 is superior and they’re almost identical in price Also - I’m wondering if I’m overwicking now cause I use no smaller than CL12 wick (usually CL14) and I feel like your diameter can’t be THAT far off a standard 30cl jar
I’ve come to the end and you’re spot on about why it’s okay to share your process.. so many people just never DO Excellent video. So much information 👏🏻
Oh never heard of discount candle supply, will check them out. Yeah worth playing around with. Wicking is a nightmare I constantly think I've overwicked and uderwicked... Never quite settled and when I do settle I get a complain and then test and decide I'm doing it all wrong haha. I also think temperature changes affect wicking too, warmer in the summer small wick opposite in the winter but that might be my own crazy thoughts but also a bit of hardwork.
Thank you! Brilliant video! I’ve been testing for a few months now and coincidentally I use SCX wax as well. Been trying to blend it with other waxes to get better scent throw etc etc Can you please share where you get your jars from?
Thank you so much for sharing so much knowledge! You've convinced me to get the wax melter! Also, can you please share where you get the screw on wick holders from?
Those wick holders were custom made on Ebay, not sure if they're available anymore I think they were 3D printed - worth a search. Glad you liked the video.
Thank you for sharing your process. Valuable.
