LEGEND
I love you jack mate
if anyone actually reads these comments, the guy moaning about the app as the sole way to do certain things is 100% right. Many people don't have smartphones and for a lot of things an app is a less than ideal way to interact. Pushing the app is fine and having content on there is great but replicate if for the desktop.
But it’s a qr code scanner no? So how would it work on desktop, can’t exactly bring your laptop to the game to scan it
@@xswiiftt you'd get your tickets in the exact same way you currently do if you don't use the app... but i'm not talking about tickets, i'm talking about things like this livestream only being accessible from the app. my wife and i sat watching this on my phone last night, instead of on the website, which would have been preferable. but more to the point, like the guy in the video says, not being able to vote for POTS or enter competitions etc because they're all on the app excludes some fans from things.
I'm actively not using a smartphone anymore because it became a drain endlessly scrolling through rubbish. Life's to short to have your head in a screen endlessly. I have a 'dumb' phone for calls and text messages. If I want to go on the Internet, I use my laptop.
Saints need to consider that not everyone has or even wants a smartphone or the App.
It’s 2024 mate, the majority of people DO HAVE smart phones, this is the way of the world now, move with the times or get left behind, unfortunately.
@@MrSamiG88 I've had a smartphone for 10 years, I've just decided that I don't want one anymore. I've had enough of being tracked, pushed advertising and feeling addicted to the screen. It's shocking when you look around how people just act with a phone endlessly in their hand. I think you be surprised how many people are waking up to this and moving away from them. I still go on the Internet and buy almost everything online, just don't feel the need or want to carry a computer (smartphone) around with me. That's all.
Each to their own, but organisations should not force technology on everyone for their own convenience and financial gains.
Great first question of the bat regarding the goalkeeper
Thought Russell and the club were quite honest never easy these situations
Be great if you could add chapters with a summary of the question asked...
Agreed
With AI it takes minutes and minimal effort

If Bella-Kotchap is leaving, then you MUST use the funds to buy a goalkeeper, we WILL go down with McCarthy, and probably bazunu as well.
Agreed.
No "probably" about Bazunu, he may be the only P.L. team keeper worse than McCarthy.
You’re ASS U MEing that a manager who has a blind spot towards goalkeepers is going to be able to pick a goalkeeper that is not only better but has traits that the manager expects from!? 😂 Okay…. 😂 Yes we need a goalkeeper but last season at the forum what did Russell say about Bazunu? One of the best!? 😂 No he ain’t, Russell! Absolutely rubbish! I like a goalkeeper to make saves. Sam Johnstone was phenomenal when West Brom went down. Best save per shot ratio. This is the goalkeeper for me so long as his heart is in still.
That din asking about a 70p price increase on cider 🤦♂waste of a question!
I am really excited about premier league football this season
Need a Keeper.Mccarthys a good backup but not a number 1.
Interested to know more about the investments around the stadium. Hoping Saints will have something to do with the new Gasworks (maybe a shop/museum?) development, and if the waterfront gets developed top like Phil suggested, then surely we need to make a case of expanding the Itchen out, and making the whole place a Southampton FC entertainment district like in the US!
Please have a goalkeeper that doesn't ship 9 goals consistently 😢
Many older people don't use Apps, so I do think you are leaving people behind. I am no technophobe but I don't have the App, Why don't I have the App? Basically the screen real estate on the web is better!
Move with the times or get left behind, you’re in a the minority not the majority I’m afraid mate.
@@MrSamiG88 I hear you! The issue isn't for me, on the fans forum you heard about disabled / impaired and older fans some of which really can't handle everything a Smartphone can offer. So it's a choice to go with the majority or cater for carefully considered minorities.
Looking forward to the new season ahead COYR
Would be a lot better if Adam Blackmore kept his options and questions to him self. He gets to ask questions all the time. Should do a quick into then open it up to the fans then a quick thank you at the end. Around 20 odd mins was Adam waffling on.
@@andrewwheat4601 it may be a saints forum but I think you’ll find it’s run by bbc radio solent and is Adam blackmore’s show, not the Saints.
They just don't listen to the real fans, only hear what they want to hear
Need to keep Onuachu and charly
Yes, reducing staff to 280 saves so much more money than signing sicknote players like Larios, Stewart, Lallana who are paid tens of thousands a week to sit on their backsides and contribute nothing.
Not sure it's fair to say they sit on their backsides as if they're just lazy. Stewart and Larios both got hamstring injuries that club doctors clearly signed off as being sufficiently serious to put them out of action as long they have, and Lallana only just re-signed for us.
Ahhh Brighton’s next manager on show 😂
It's a shame nobody from the women's team was there last night.
They are having their own forum apparently
No it isnt. Last season the forum turned into a DE&I fest trying to create the impression that there were as many questions and as much interest in the women's team. Better to run it separately so those interested get full focus and those that aren't don't have to.
No thanks 😂
Why? It's a forum regarding the Men's team...
are these gatherings worth it? can you ask difficult questions and get proper answers? Its like watching question time where the politicians don't address issues, you are just told their narrative and don't deviate from that. I want to know where the money's all gone, we are always skint, yet millions have been made in transfers, premier league money and other income from the club like tickets.....and what's happened to the academy which everyone was lauding for years and hasn't really produced much for the team lately...there seems to be no coherent plan, we bought young players only to be relegated, now what? buy players past their prime? To me the squad is pretty thin on quality players to keep us in the premier league...this is a championship squad at best
Try turning up and asking questions yourself instead of moaning on here. Club gives you an opportunity unlike other clubs and all you can do is post moans.
Player sales barely covered previous expensses. Premier league money isnt immediate. Club lost tens of millions over covid and lost a year of premier league revenue. The club is in flux. We cant just throw kids into the team for the sake of it
First to view it!
Yet again we have a rugby mush coming in ? Ffs I remember Rupert lowes m8 came in and fecked up the club ? So now you have 280 people from 480 staff ? What on earth did those people do ? Or not ? Maybe they should the le i tiss role model stay and work hard at my club and it will pay off ? At the dell teams shat themselves to come to the shine of the football . Why ain’t Matt at our club anymore ? Because he tells the truth ? None of you are bigger than Southampton ? You all just borrow the name ? I’m 58 now and been a fan all my life ? Up the saints
I think your question mark key is stuck.
The ‘no smart phone’ guy is a cry baby.
Well, not really. Remember your comment when everything is mobile and the powers that be can turn off your bank account, deactivate your season ticket and disable your car remotely if you do something they don't like. Or when there's another, more serious 'IT outage' and the snowflakes of today go into full on riot mode within 24 hours with no WiFi or digital payment.
I bet you would say that in the face of the guy
