a friend sent this to me and I just wanna say that this song and music video is SO unbelievably DOPE. AS HELL. As an aspiring filmmaker the techniques shown here are astounding to see, I will definitely study this. Also i LOVE the emotional crunchiness of everything! It's so bursting with passion and it breaks my cold little heart that this is 3 years old and only has 8k views. YOU GUYS ARE KILLING IT!!
I'm in the middle of reading of Jack Kerouac's "on the road" & I've been listening to this song so many times that when the singer says _"You left me, one night in Detroit In August 1949"_ , its a direct quote from the book...it tripped me out...lol
Cut your eyes out You don't wanna see What I can see Cut your ears off You don't wanna hear What I have to say But I have to stay You were always in the way but girl you know that I was dead that day I know I'm not okay You left me one night in Detroit In August 1949 Your eyes Call me inside Oh how they shine Black and blue eyes He's so scared to die All she wants to do is cry Lie down with me Let out a long sigh As I stare in your eyes I miss your eyes Cut your eyes out You don't wanna see What I can be Cut your ears off You don't wanna hear What I have to say
BRUH LIKE HOW ARE YOU GUYS SO UNDERRATED WHERE ARE THE REST OF THE VIEWS? Also, i really enjoyed this! i remember it was the first song i heard by you guys and gosh i really love this video! great work!
Is the lead singer Franky Fox? because I thought he was the guy with the mustache Who is Abe Zuckerman? Is he the curly haired guy? And who is Frankl Newby? If anyone can help, I’d appreciate it. Been listening to you guys for a while and I still don’t know exactly who’s who in the band...haha
Im also confused did Franky flowers die? It suggests that in their Spotify description but can't find any information? It would be a great shame if he did x
your sound is your own, go where you want with it, but i'd caution against this direction with the mixing, what did you guys dislike about the original track? more raw is extremely synergistic with your sound, this feels a little overproduced is all IMHO

Cut your eyes out
You don't wanna see
What I can see
Cut your ears off
You don't wanna hear
What I have to say
But I have to stay
You were always in the way
but girl you know that I was dead that day
I know I'm not okay
You left me one night in Detroit
In August 1949
Your eyes
Call me inside
Oh how they shine
Black and blue eyes
He's so scared to die
All she wants to do is cry
Lie down with me
Let out a long sigh
As I stare in your eyes
I miss your eyes
Cut your eyes out
You don't wanna see
What I can be
Cut your ears off
You don't wanna hear
What I have to say
