I’m wondering if recruitment levels are low and this is why people who are not qualified to do the job get selected anyway. With all the focus on police it will send recruitment numbers even lower like it did in the U.S, which will mean even worse people.
I mean it seems strange that their would be so many bad officers and that they were not spotted earlier. Does anyone know the recruitment levels for the police force? Is it because they are having trouble recruiting? This happened in America then they went off on demonising the police, which resulted in even lower recruitment levels. As a former financial advisor with a high client value company, my Father was REQUIRED to take and pass "competancy exams" EVERY.SINGLE.YEAR despite having been a FA for OVER FORTY YEARS and considered an expert in his field by other members of his peers. Why the police who have the power to remove the freedoms of a person based on just what they say, are allowed to go UNVETTED FOR THIER ENTIRE CAREERS after the initial training is beyond my understanding. Something is VERY VERY WRONG with how our society is structured.
