- 3 hours meditative music on pure 3rd and 6th intervals -
Composition, Arabic oud, Korg Triton: Nao Sogabe
This music is played with pure (just) 3rd and 6th intervals - Completely different from the usual equal temperament with detuned thirds.
The pure intervals are based on the natural overtones.
The proportion of overtones exists since the beginning of our universe, long before the humankind appears.
The pure intervals work positively for our mental health.
And also for our cats - they often approach the speaker...
Please enjoy the well-balanced harmonies!

Oud & Lute - King of Instruments -
The origin of the oud belongs to the ancient times and similar instruments were used by the Babylonian and ancient Egyptian. Until today, oud is played as the "king of instruments" in Arabic culture.
The oud found his way to Europe in medieval times and it became "lute". During the Renaissance the lute was also regarded as the "king of instruments".

Thank you for your wonderful words!
Beautiful music for the soul! It can be played all day and night and never become tiresome.
Many thanks for your wonderful comment!
The older I get the more I realize what music really is all about. It's a very personal relationship between an instrument and it's performer. I spend many hours just improvising all alone with no one to hear it except me and my cat. Mostly guitars but any instrument I can get my hands on really. Accordions are great.
I could spend the rest of my life just listening to this...💚
Pure joy, beautiful ❤many thanks 🙏Blessings to you
Many thanks!
Just found you and want to thank you for the sublime playing and beautiful progressions.

Love love love this music
Thanks for sharing your incredible music,
This is a great performance. I suscribed to your channel.
There is a revival of just intonations, this is great because i've always been bothered by the sound of certain intervals (thirds, but also fifths...) specially in solo string instrument pieces.
Thank you for lietening and thank you for your interest in intonation. It is an area that functions at the subconscious level for most people. Therefore, its impact is usually underestimated...
@@NaoSogabe You are right. To be honest, this is when I started to play classical guitar (autodidact) that I perceived that something was not quite right. I remember trying to tune "by ear" starting from a reference note : I adjusted a given interval just to find other intervals were completely off. I gradually understood that the tuning system was a compromise and, as all compromises, something misses in the final result.
Thanks again for sharing your work. Your channel is a great source of inspiration.
So nice (mind soothing)🤩🥰🥰🥰🤩
Good music for meditation
