That's an amazing setup, also the sort of thing that would be useful for contractors in the event of a breakdown for their main chopper I could see this coming out to get the work done while repairs were ongoing. Lose a trailer but carry on chopping. Brilliant video.
I think these choppers are a good machine for what they were made for, I would like one but what I like is direct placement of material no spill loading
Hi well maybe a good strong forager but you just can’t get enough through them many years ago 22 to be persise I used to trailer alongside one on the back of a renuault 145-54 and I had a Fiat f100
I own both, JF and Mengele. The JF is built out tin can. The mengele is like a tank, when the JF melted down to a new, the mengele is still on field and chopp and chopp.....
Just had another look this harvester, the Chute is heavily modified with a hydraulic fold mid way, and the electric actuator at the top looks like a great improvement over the original. I like the lights up there too.
That’s pretty cool, not something you’d see in North America. I’ve seen pics of old Gehl setups similar to that on Versatile bi-directional tractors that’s about as close as you’d find I guess.
Well the lifetime from the transmissions only depends from the driver... I work for a contractor in Germany and our 926 hast 13000 hours with the first transmission... But normally you can say the get replaced after 7000-9000 hours
13000 hours is great going from a Vario. It just proves that a good driver is all it takes! I reckon a lot of guys are using the Vario too harshly to slow down big loads at high speeds and generally expecting too much from the transmissions. Well done to your employer's outfit.
thepajbren 7000 to 9000 hours too early for any major work like that. I know of a fiat/new holland 110-90 28’000 hours here in Ireland. No trans work at all
Great looking outfit, where was this taken? Been looking to buy a Fendt Favorit 926 Vario, for ages never really see them for sale in the uk. Regards from Cornwall.
Very efficient, why isn't this more common? Contractors must be mad paying hundreds of thousands on a machine that sits in the shed for 8 or 9 month's.

Really great Fendt action, good video! 💪
Thanks, very rare sight these days
Cracking outfit, nice to see she's still earning her keep and cracking on at a fair speed as well. Top vid Aaron👍
Thanks George hopefully catch it on maize as well
Magtig mooi om te zien mooi gras trouwens kwaliteit
Wunderschöner Bulldog! Der hat einfach noch Stil!
Cool Video Aaron! I think it's great to even film the small machines. It does not always have to be the largest and most modern. Greetings Alex.
Very True Alex
That's a mighty job
I really enjoyed that
Thanks Sam :)
En erg mooi gefilmd vanuit de cabine mii om ook us te zien

Cannot believe they still carry the Mengele name!
Beautiful to see.
It certainly was

Definitely one like this Dan 👌
Great video!! Greets Stefan

Love the fendt what a beauty mengelle not so tractor wasted my jf 1355 would eat that for breakfast good video some good camera work
Now you're just being picky 😂

@@mackdriver4697 maybe but the 1355 built a lot heavier than the likes of a jf 900
Very nice - no cricked necks!
Think you'll still get neck ache
Simple camera on the spout would solve that problem
Great looking setup, I wonder is that pickup the standard one for the reverse drive harvester?
Probably not, although got to be the same mounting brackets. So interchangeable at least. He did have the smaller header on it before though
@@AgriVidsProductions I'm betting he extended the pickup himself.
@@GeneHunt406 he bought a bigger header for it recently
@@AgriVidsProductions wow, didn't know one existed

A rare sight on a continent I reckon. Thanks for commenting, don't see any of those brands this side of the water

Does anybody know what hours these early Vario transmissions got to before having to be replaced?

TOP! 🙂
That’s a seriously heavy crop
why can't that chopper be ran on the front of the fendt?
Bob La'Blah more power at the rear pto and the fendt has a 180° turnable seat
Why would you do that, the cab is reversible, plus if the chopper was on the front of the tractor, the driver has the hood/ engine bonnet in the way.
Very efficient, why isn't this more common? Contractors must be mad paying hundreds of thousands on a machine that sits in the shed for 8 or 9 month's.
Some job lad
Big Job
